@giannanino THE FUNDAMENTAL ATTRIBUTION ERROR When "the other" (those not like me) does well, it is luck. When "the other" does poorly, it is due to vice (laziness). When "the in group" (those like me) do well, it is due to virtue (hard work). When the "in group" does poorly, it is bad luck

Enjoying dipping in and out of all the different sessions; just attended @InsightersEd on scope/sequence of #medialiteracy which was concurrent w/@drcmcwhorter power/prejudice/portrayals which I'm listening to now; as recordings are already live for replay! Impressive #NAMLE22

@riktheranger Thank you! The one I just presented is in press at the Kentucky Journal of Communication, and I'm also hoping to publish a collection of resources very soon!

Today is the day! I'm presenting my curriculum and research at #NAMLE22! It's called, "Power, Prejudice, and Portrayals in News: Teaching Representation from a Critical Race News Literacy Perspective" I am THOROUGHLY enjoying this conference so far!

I'm probably really late with this, but I wanted to share something with my fellow overwhelmed overachievers. I learned this neat trick called "Lowering My Impossibly High Standards" and IT. IS. AMAZING.

@jenniferejoness It's a whole flood. It makes sense though. The qualifications are a match or can transfer and in most cases, the compensation is much better.
