It is with great sadness to learn of the sudden passing of our dear friend and colleague Cullen Taniguchi, M.D., Ph.D. Dr. Taniguchi has been a member of the department since 2014, when he joined as a Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT) Scholar.

There’s opportunity for RADIATION MEDICINE, which may be a better term for our field (over radiation oncology). I think RT can help patients with benign disease and this is something we should look into. I also think we should be at the forefront of radiopharmaceuticals.
