SB26-111, a bill to protect children from sexual predators, was just killed in Senate Judiciary. For the third time. This bill would have removed probation for those who sexually assault children. That shouldn’t be controversial. But here we are. Even more disturbing — Senator Heinrichsen has supported policies like legalizing prostitution and expanding recognition of polyamorous relationships… yet won’t support putting child rapists behind bars!!! The Littleton Police Department (LPD) is renewing its call for information on the 10-year anniversary of the unsolved homicide of Jamie Albert Villarreal Jr.
In 2016, Villarreal was shot and killed in the parking lot of an office building in Littleton. A second victim, Villarreal’s work partner, attempted to flee the scene but was shot in the leg. He survived the attack and was able to provide investigators with information about the suspects.
