The Littleton Police Department (LPD) is renewing its call for information on the 10-year anniversary of the unsolved homicide of Jamie Albert Villarreal Jr. In 2016, Villarreal was shot and killed in the parking lot of an office building in Littleton. A second victim, Villarreal’s work partner, attempted to flee the scene but was shot in the leg. Update: Both vehicles have been removed from the building. The building has been turned over to the property owners and will be closed indefinitely. One person from the car was transported emergent to a local hospital and one person from the commercial carrier refused medical treatment. At the time of the accident, 5 workers were inside the business and approximately 25 customers were at the business; none were injured. @LittletonPD is investigating the cause of the accident. Thanks to @WestMetroFire Technical Rescue team for their assistance.

Crash Involving a Pedestrian A 73-year-old woman was driving erratically in the parking lot when she struck a white female pedestrian in her 60s. LPD and @SouthMetroPIO responded to the incident. The victim was transported to a local area hospital, where she remains in critical condition at this time. The suspect remained on the scene and has been charged with careless driving resulting in serious bodily injury.
