You won a league;
1. Best player of the season isn’t from your team.
2. Highest goal scorer not from your team.
3. Highest assist for the season not from your team.
Arsenal pass back door win league 🤣🤣
Manchester City fans will be watching Pep Guardiola’s final & farewell game in charge against Aston Villa.
Liverpool fans will be watching Mohamed Salah’s emotional farewell against Brentford.
Manchester United fans will be watching Bruno Fernandes chase the assist record against Brighton.
Chelsea fans will be watching their final league game with hopes of securing qualification for UEFA Europa League.
Tottenham fans will be watching the relegation battle until the final minute.
Nobody will care about anything else the Premier League title away at Crystal Palace. Only them.
Arsenal spent 238 days at the top of the table from 4th of October 2025 till they won the league. They only had one slight interruption when Man City led briefly on goal difference in late April, but Arsenal recovered the lead immediately.
You were top for 238 days out of 283 days, and you say this is the hardest league win. You practically ran away with the league until you almost handed it over to City.
Enjoy your win and shut up abeg. Congratulations on your win. No need need for false embellishment.
@WelBeast Even Anderson still have more trophies than arsenal in the past 6 years how delusional and stupid can you be by comparing The legend Ryan Giggs to this arsenal squad?
They used to tell us Ryan Giggs can give every Arsenal player a premier league winners medal and still have 2 left but can he also give Bruno Fernandes one to put on the table? We just want to talk but you must first put your league medal on the table.
@Tim_Cahill That's what some of these others teams fail to realize, football is a process, you need time to stabilize the team.
Arteta was given enough time to rebuild the team, and thank God he did that at his pace and we now all see the result!!!
Call me Ebere
@talkSPORT@ToryNo560316 Grown ass arrogant man behaving like a child after watching Arsenal lift their first premier league trophy after 22 years.
1 premier league and 1 domestic trophy after 22 years is a failure😭
Midnight I received a call from this other dude, an Arsenal fan screaming his lungs out "we won, we won, we won". Almost tore my earpieces with his noise.
That time the dude, is broke and that's when it struck to me, football is the only thing happening in his life. He is living vicariously through "his team".
Why so many men treat their team’s win like it’s their own?
Walk into any bar on a Champions League night and you’ll see it. Grown men screaming, jumping, cursing at the ref like they’re on the pitch. The team wins, and suddenly it’s “we did it”. The team loses, and it’s a bad Monday.
That’s vicarious living, and soccer is the main drug for it.
*1. Identity without effort*
Building status in real life takes years: career, family, skills, money. Supporting a club gives you an instant identity. You’re a Man City fan, a Man Utd fan, an Arsenal fan. No tryouts needed. When they win, your identity wins too.
*2. Controlled emotion in a boring world*
Most of life is muted. Work, bills, routine. A 90-minute match is 90 minutes where you’re allowed to feel everything at max volume. The highs feel earned, even if you did nothing but watch. It’s a legal hit of purpose and tribal belonging.
*3. Tribe > Individual*
Humans are wired for tribe. Your club is your tribe. When they score, you get the same neurochemical hit as if _you_ scored. Dopamine doesn’t care that you were on the couch. It cares that “your group” succeeded. That’s why losses feel personal - it’s a group loss.
*4. Low cost, high payoff*
You can be a fan from anywhere. No gym, no talent, no risk of injury. You put in $0 and 2 hours a week, and you get bragging rights, community, and emotional highs for months. It’s the highest ROI hobby out there.
*The catch*
It becomes a problem when it replaces real wins. If your only “we did it” moment is your club lifting a trophy, you’re renting meaning. Real fulfillment comes from things you actually control: your health, your work, your relationships.
But used right, it’s healthy. It’s ritual, community, and a break from the grind. The mistake is confusing “we won” with “I won”.
Be a fan. Celebrate. Then go build something in your own life you can say that about.
Learn OR perish!!!
Declan Rice has won the PFA Player of the Year award tonight. I’m really sorry Bruno Fernandes, I fought for you but the fact that Rice said “it’s not done” after Arsenal lost to City and they have now won the league is enough to win that award.
