Daily mandatory walks around your suburb are one of the greatest indicators of depression. I'll say any form of routine walking. It is not the walking that makes you a prisoner, it is that walking is a symptom of slavery. Kids never want to go on walks. They want to play. This is not to say you should never go for walks. Walking is great. Hikes are good for the soul. But we have to ask ourselves why we gave up on play for the monotony of daily walks. If you need to constantly go on walks to "clear your head" maybe something in your life needs to change. Retardmaxx it and return to play. You'll get plenty of steps in and be a lot happier.
