Changes to the operational hours of a number of bus lanes across Belfast and in Carryduff are taking place from Monday 3 November. These bus lanes will now operate during both the morning and afternoon peak hours, so please look out for the new signs and do not drive or park in the bus lanes during these hours. NI HEMS are delighted to welcome latest recruit Andy McIlhatton. This week was initial training at @AirAmbulanceNI air base under the watchful eye of Dan Rose. After training and some observation, Andy should be cleared to fly, bringing lifesaving care to those in greatest need.

Yesterday, we welcomed 40 Newly Qualified Paramedics (NQPs) to NIAS. Following a period of training over the next two months, NQPs will commence operational shifts before Christmas, providing welcome support across all divisions. We wish them well as they start their careers
