West Ham United will honour those who bravely laid down their lives for us with a series of poignant Remembrance activities around today's Premier League fixture with Burnley.
Before the match, the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal will hold bucket collections and will be selling poppies around London Stadium.
A large poppy will cover the centre-circle throughout the warm-ups while members of the Armed Forces and representatives from Blesma, The Limbless Veterans, will provide a Guard of Honour in front of the Billy Bonds Stand and West Stand.
Blesma veteran Matty Woollard, who lost his right leg whilst serving in Afghanistan, will also speak to his fellow West Ham supporters about the importance of marking Remembrance Day and the work done by the charity and Royal British Legion in supporting veterans and their loved ones.
The Royal British Legion Band & Corps of Drums, based in Romford, will entertain the crowd with a selection of war-time tunes.
Wreaths will be laid by representatives of both clubs before kick-off.
Bugler Osman Dervish will sound The Last Post before London Stadium falls silent to pay tribute to the fallen.
The Hammers will wear shirts emblazoned with a poppy which will be auctioned post-match to raise funds for charity.
Four members of West Ham United’s U12s squad visited the historic Poppy Factory in Richmond, Surrey as part of a special educational and community project designed to help young players connect football with remembrance, respect and social action.
The visit formed part of the Premier League Truce Project, which runs annually and builds up towards a qualification tournament at Aldershot Barracks on Remembrance Sunday and the Truce Tournament in Ypres, Belgium, in December.
The West Ham U21’s played Liverpool last night at Rush Green. There was a two minute silence before kick off and again Poppies were worn on shirts as can be seen below.

@Bobby_Seagull It depends on the song! You'll notice we didn't try singing after the Beatles question...
