@VeVeViral I like your optimism, hope you’re right. But every business owner I talk to is super pessimistic. Middle class getting squeezed, rising prices, stagnant wages. Almost every asset class well above historical norms. US govt doesn’t have ammo to bail out the next recession. Not good

This video is dedicated to our Co-Host and good friend, @KevinLeeLoader.
🔗youtu.be/PqYWnFpKoVg
Kevin was more than just a colleague. He was a constant presence and always brought such a bright energy into the room. Together, we built something special, and he poured his energy, passion, and laughter into every project. Whether he was on air, behind the scenes, or simply sharing ideas over whiskey, Kevin brought his whole heart to everything he worked on.
But Kevin was never defined solely by his work. He was a man of immense kindness, humor, and sincerity. His laughter was contagious, his stories unforgettable, and his spirit undeniable. He had a way of making even the most challenging days feel lighter, like using the Force to push away the weight of the galaxy. And he reminded me constantly of why we pursued this path in the first place. He loved connecting with people, sharing stories, and creating moments that would last forever. That was Kevin’s gift.
Kevin had the soul of a Jedi — wise, compassionate, and always seeking the light. But like Han Solo, he had a knack for getting us out of impossible situations, often with a cheeky smile and a well-timed joke. He could quote Star Wars, Marvel, Jaws, or Indiana Jones like they were sacred texts, and he lived by the timeless wisdom of Yoda: "Do or do not, there is no try."
He believed in the power of community. Whether it was through his creative projects or his friendships, Kevin made people feel seen and heard. He had a rare ability to bring people together, to foster conversations that mattered, and to celebrate the unique stories each of us carry. Like the Avengers assembling, he knew we were all stronger together.
Losing Kevin leaves a void that words can’t fully capture. But I know that his spirit lives on in the memories we hold, the lessons he taught us, and the joy he brought into our lives. He would want us to keep telling stories, to keep laughing, and to keep supporting each other through whatever comes next. And in those moments when we need courage or strength, I know we’ll hear Kevin’s voice echoing: “you got this.”
Kevin, thank you for the laughter, the wisdom, the creativity, and the countless moments we shared. We will miss you deeply, but we will honor you through the work we do and the way we carry your friendship forward.
Rest easy, Kevin. The Force will be with you, always.

What we can learn from streetwear, gaming and art.
At @veve_official, we think a lot about why people collect. Not just the WHAT, but the WHY. Digital collecting isn’t just a new format – it’s a new frontier. And if we want to build experiences that truly resonate, we have to look beyond blockchain and back-end infrastructure. We need to learn from the cultures that already know how to build desire, identity and emotional connection. Some of the most powerful lessons for digital collectibles come from streetwear, gaming and art.
Streetwear: Scarcity with soul. If you’ve ever queued up (online or off) for a sneaker drop, you know streetwear isn’t just about the product – it’s about belonging. A Supreme or Bathing Ape drop isn’t a transaction – it’s a moment. The drop has become part of our culture at VeVe too. But we’ve learned that scarcity alone isn’t enough. The magic happens when a release taps into something bigger – a shared memory, a cultural moment, a sense of connection. We’re not here to release inventory. We’re here to create experiences.
Gaming: Value through engagement. Gamers have been collecting digital items long before NFTs. Skins, emotes, achievements – they all carry emotional weight because they’re earned, customised and shared. In games, digital items become part of how you express yourself. That’s a model we can learn from. A VeVe collectible shouldn’t just sit in your vault – it should live in your world. Whether through AR, the VeVeVerse or its ties to fandom, every collectible should be something you love to engage with because it means something to you.
Art: Story first. Contemporary art reminds us that to matter, something has to make you FEEL. The same is true for great digital collectibles. We’re not here to copy the physical world – we’re here to reimagine it. Every piece should be a story – a digital expression of emotion, nostalgia and creative vision.
Innovation with purpose. Tech gives us amazing tools – but tools only matter if they serve the experience. We’re exploring AR, metaverse, blockchain and more – but we don’t innovate just for the sake of it. We do it to enhance collecting itself. Whether it’s seeing a character come to life in AR or catching up with a friend across the world in VR, our goal is always the same – to make collecting more personal, more meaningful and more fun.
Bringing it back to the collector. Everything we build – every feature, every drop, every long-term decision – comes back to a simple question: Does this make collecting better? Because collecting is about identity. It’s about emotion. It’s about storytelling. And when we stay focused on the collector, respect the culture and innovate with purpose, we’re not just building a platform – we’re building the future of fandom.

I have been in the VVV playing around for an hour now. 🤩 I have worked in 3D modeling programs for over 15 year now, & have a few suggestions.
➡️ When building, we need a feature that allows shapes (ie, walls, floors, ceilings) to “SNAP” together.
I found the “SNAP TO GRID” feature in Settings > Preferences, which is very helpful for designing, but not so helpful if the ends of the shapes can’t easily locate each other and “SNAP” together.
This makes building large spaces incredibly difficult, bc you have to run to each end with your Avatar to see if it’s lined up. Which is a great segway to the next feature desperately needed. 🤓
➡️ Scale tool needs a feature to scale one end of the shape at a time. When I’m designing my museum, and I’m framing the walls, it makes it incredibly difficult to do on a large scale due to not having this feature.
(Moving in the VVV is one of the most difficult things to do when building large scale.) You have to run all the way to one end to see if it’s lined up, then run all the way back to the other end bc this feature doesn’t exist.
When you can’t scale one side at a time then while you’re at one end scaling it to fit, it scales the other side too and throws the other end off. Which is a great segway to the next feature desperately needed. 🤓
➡️ A “Walk Through Walls” feature. (when designing)
This would make the building process a hundred times faster. 🏃♂️
**BUG 🐞 🐛 🐜 NOTES :
🐞 While designing a wall for my museum, the “MOVE” tool kept getting stuck on two features at once.
“ROTATE” & “ SCALE”
And “MOVE” & “ROTATE”
This is incredibly frustrating because, as I’m trying to frame a straight wall, I kept accidentally rotating it or scaling it at the same time.
This got so frustrating after 15 min, I ended up leaving the VVV all together, as I simply cannot frame without this tool working properly.
I would say it should be a #1 PRIORITY.
💙❤️🧡💚 🙏
🐛 “FOG” color (hue) picker does not work. Every time you pick a color, it slides back down to grey or I imagine whatever the default is. I cannot set it to a new color at all.
🐜 My collectibles are not showing up at all. I have over 1600, and nothing is there.
🤓
I had a great time playing around, and am so excited the VVV is here. Thank you for all of your incredibly hard work to make this dream a reality and for giving us the tools to build. Hopefully these things I mentioned will be implemented/fixed, so I can get back in and continue on this journey.
