#letsendtoxicity GMC Surat. New Civil Hospital. R1 doctors are being pushed to 42-hour duties, 3 TIMES A WEEK — that’s 126 HOURS of continuous grind. No sleep. No recovery. No dignity. And it gets worse. TB ward postings where residents are not allowed to even go to their rooms to BATHE for 7 days straight. For female doctors, this isn’t just exploitation — it’s outright inhuman. What are they doing in these hours? Not learning. Not treating critically ill patients. ➡️ Clerical work ➡️ File collection ➡️ Personal errands of seniors ➡️ Buying snacks for consultants (₹30–40K/month gone from THEIR pockets) All while facing constant humiliation, harassment, and unrealistic expectations to function without food, sleep, or basic human needs. Doctors are being broken in the name of “training.” 36-hour shifts, chronic sleep deprivation, relentless pressure and yet, an expectation of flawless performance. Let’s call it what it is: this is not training, it is institutionalized exploitation. What was once a necessity in an era of limited resources has now been turned into a rigid, compulsory system. Back then, doctors spent more time in hospitals out of necessity and willingness to learn. Today, resources and learning tools have expanded but the same inhumane workload persists. The truth is uncomfortable: An outdated system has normalized overwork for its own convenience, while junior doctors pay the price with their health, their mental well-being, and sometimes, their lives. Training should build competence, not destroy the individual. Overtime must be a choice not an obligation. How dare you send me a notice @jnjhealthequity @kenvue that I am maligning the names of ORSL and ERZL for my own commercial benefits and for increasing the number of followers for my page, and that you will drag me to the court?! My stance is predated and vindicated by the FSSAI order of October 14th and 15th. Delhi High Court clearly refused to give a stay. Saying ERZL is the new form of ORSL is a clear violation of the ban order and is misleading those people who still believe ORSL is ORS. आज जब ऊर्जा सुरक्षा पर फ़ोकस है, यह याद करना ज़रूरी है कि कैसे भारत में इथेनॉल ब्लेडिंग मिशन को पटरी से उतारने की कोशिश की गई। कैसे कहा गया कि इथेनॉल से इंजन में नमी आती है और उसकी क्षमता प्रभावित होती है। कैसे कहा गया कि इससे माइलेज कम होता है। कैसे बोला गया कि इथेनॉल कारख़ानों से भूजल दूषित होगा और उसका अधिक दोहन होगा जिससे भूजल स्तर और गिरेगा। इससे खाद्य सुरक्षा पर असर पड़ेगा। अनाज महंगा होगा। डेयरी और पोल्ट्री सेक्टर प्रभावित होगा। वगैरह-वगैरह। यहाँ तक इसे ‘अमीरों की गाड़ियों के लिए ग़रीबों की थालियों से समझौता’ तक कहा गया। इस सबके बावजूद आज भारत में पेट्रोल में 20% इथेनॉल ब्लेंडिग हो रही है और साढ़े चार करोड़ बैरल तेल कम आयात हुआ। इससे विदेशी मुद्रा की बड़ी बचत हुई और आयात बिल में कमी आई। पीछे मुड़ कर देखें तो लगता है कि अगर भारत ने आक्रामक ढंग से इस कार्यक्रम को आगे नहीं बढ़ाया होता तो आज क्या होता?

Never opt any institute based upon their prestigious names ! Majority of the people down in depressive mental state texting me these days are from the so called top institutes regretting their choices and now asking if they can change their branches to non clinical or opt some low rank hospital with a better and non toxic environment or opt DNB as branch over MD. A mental health lost in 3 years of residency has a life time negative impact on your health which is sometimes irreversible and progressively disrupting in later stages of life . That’s not called building yourself but destroying your youth !

Sir, I would like to draw your attention towards the atrocities being committed on first year residents in Maulana Azad Medical College Delhi . In orthopaedics department First year PG pays the Lunch bill of SRs,2nd &3rd year PGs & interns. It costs around 20K ₹/month/resident.
