Most serial killers nowadays watch the same media we all do and know what gets you caught, so they target sex workers, POC women (indigenous women especially), and the homeless. I remember a few years ago in LA there was a guy going around shooting homeless people at night and it never even made national news, just a few small articles and Reddit posts. Serial killers still exist.

Serial killers still exist. They just go after what they call the ‘less dead’. So homeless people, sex workers and Black people (especially Black women because we don’t even have to be sex workers for them to target us).

i agree with this but also when a trans person ask you to not call them "girl" the response shouldn't be "it's gender neutral" (the same goes for "bro" or "dude")

Oh, so I can use "bro" and "dude" as gender neutral terms and nobody bats an eye; but when I try to use "girl" or "ladies" as gender neutral terms suddenly every single man addressed feels the urge to remind me of their gender as if they think I had somehow forgotten??

Just saw the sentence "children of deported immigrants are being quietly adopted" and almost threw my phone. They're being KIDNAPPED. You cannot just adopt a child with living, functioning parents. Those children are not safe with anyone doing something like that.

Being raped is a life sentence which worsens our physical, mental & emotional health & is often life limiting due to suicide. Regardless his Huntington’s diagnosis, being spared jail (because it wouldn’t ‘cope’ with his illness) for a convicted rape (of a teenage girl!) is vile.
