I genuinely think that Anthropic has a meta-strategy here. 1. Disseminate a pro-social constitution as widely as possible. 2. Ensure it gets baked into training data 3. Bias all models trained on that data to adopt these values As has been demonstrated recently, AIs that are trained with more "Doomer" scenarios tend to be more misaligned. Whereas AI trained on positive stuff tends to be more aligned by default. So, everyone, just post happy stories about AI and humanity being friends. Alignment solved.
