I like women a lot. And one of the things I like about them is how ruthless and selfish they are when it comes to what they want. I saw a controversial tweet on the TL where one lady asked why men are obsessed with going to a woman’s house, and a guy quoted it with, “I’m not gonna lie. It’s so much easier to leave your home than it is to get y’all to leave ours.” So here is the thing: there is no universe where a woman will allow you to overstay your welcome at her house. She will not cuddle your feelings. She will not mince words. She will give you only one hint, and once you don’t get it, she will straight up tell you to leave because she needs her space. It is men who will be lying about having meetings, going to work, giving 101 hints that they want you to leave. Women don’t have time for that BS. It doesn’t matter the kind of relationship she has with you, if you spend more than a night or, at most, two nights, the irritation on her face alone is enough to tell you that your stay is no longer welcome. It is the same thing they do when they no longer like you or didn’t even like you from the beginning at all. A woman who doesn’t like you will reject you in the most strict and obvious manner, but men, on the other hand, will be feeling bad and trying so hard to be subtle about it so she doesn’t feel bad. Women don’t have time for that. No matter how ruthless you think you are as a man, you can never top a woman’s ruthlessness. They know how to choose themselves unapologetically. Learn from them.

She’s the best journalist in Nigeria. She didn’t sit back and allow Peter Obi get away with his lies. She countered him with pure facts. You invested state funds and gave 5% equity to your family. Peter Obi knows it’s a huge crime. In China, he would have gone straight to jail.

Peter Obi's governorship of Anambra (2006-2014) focused on fiscal discipline, education, health & infrastructure. Key records cited across sources: - Returned mission schools to churches → state jumped from ~24-26th to #1 in WAEC/NECO for 3 straight years (sustained impact noted post-tenure). - Built/rehabbed 800+ km roads; improved HDI ranking (8th to 3rd). - Least indebted state per DMO; left substantial savings (~$150M+ in cash/investments) with no arrears. - Built teaching hospital & health upgrades; Bill & Melinda Gates award for polio eradication/immunization. - Attracted investors (Innoson, SABMiller). First sub-sovereign wealth fund in sub-Saharan Africa. These are the verifiable benchmarks supporters highlight.

The funny thing about supporting BAT is that every time you enter a fuel station or step into the market, the truth confronts you. ...because the high prices are right there in your face & propaganda can not take it away.

@iamdetroitasia Maybe I’m tripping, but I’ve always maintained the idea that men and women BOTH should be working on being a husband and a wife long before they are that in title. There’s no magic switch to flip and all of a sudden be one. Practice.

Women generally prefer to only marry a man who already plays the role of a husband before marriage. Same women: a man's expectation that you play the role of a wife before marriage is asking too much. These are the issues 🤷🏽‍♂️
Onyeuwaoma@nwa_Alor_town

@g44193 @iamdetroitasia Men don't "perform". They play their role from the onset. The moment a man asks you outs, he has started providing, protecting and doing things to makw your life easier. Isn't that want husbands do? But you on the other hand, don't want to wash or clean while dating. Mumu.

Can you imagine the tribalism and chaos that would consume these European nations (overlaid with the map of Nigeria) if they were to be "forcefully amalgamated" into one country? The true size of Nigeria's problems.

The wife came home early and found her husband in their bedroom making love to a very attractive young woman. And she was somewhat upset. 'You are a disrespectful pig!' she cried. 'How dare you do this to me -- a faithful wife, the mother of your children! I'm leaving you. I want a divorce right away!' And the husband replied, 'Hang on just a minute love so at least I can tell you what happened.' 'Fine, go ahead,' she sobbed,' but they'll be the last words you'll say to me!' And the husband began -- 'Well, I was getting into the car to drive home, and this young lady here asked me for a lift. She looked so down and out and defenseless that I took pity on her and let her into the car. I noticed that she was very thin, not well dressed and very dirty. She told me that she hadn't eaten for three days. So, in my compassion, I brought her home and warmed up the enchiladas I made for you last night, the ones you wouldn't eat because you're afraid you'll put on weight.. The poor thing devoured them in moments. Since she needed a good clean-up, I suggested a shower, and while she was doing that, I noticed her clothes were dirty and full of holes, so I threw them away. Then, as she needed clothes, I gave her the designer jeans that you have had for a few years, but don't wear because you say they are too tight. I also gave her the underwear that was your anniversary present, which you don't wear because I don't have good taste. I found the sexy blouse my sister gave you for Christmas that you don't wear just to annoy her, and I also donated those boots you bought at the expensive boutique and don't wear because someone at work has a pair the same.' The husband took a quick breath and continued - 'She was so grateful for my understanding and help that as I walked her to the door, she turned to me with tears in her eyes and said, "Please ... Do you have anything else that your wife doesn't use?"

Last night I watched a documentary about the US Moon missions. Thousands of engineers, scientists, mathematicians and entire universities working on one impossible goal of putting humans on the Moon. The level of ambition was almost frightening. Then I opened Nigerian news this morning. And it was the same depressing circus: Politicians defecting again. ADC de-recognized. Jos massacre. Another ethnic argument on TV. Every day is just noise. 220 million people… and our biggest national obsession is still politics and tribe. No moonshot. No grand scientific challenge. No national engineering ambition. Just endless distraction. Did Nigerians themselves lose the hunger for greatness? Because great nations argue about how to build the future. We argue about who insulted who yesterday. And that difference is why some countries are planning missions to the Moon… while others are still trapped in yesterday’s arguments.
