@nstulak @brightmorningtm 1/ We started with a couple of teachers adding “empathy walks” to their educational journeys. It was great to see this practice mentioned by @brightmorningtm. I can’t wait to get to ch. 11 where the “Teacher-to-Student Interaction Tracker” is discussed in further detail.

Family reading night here... next book I’m diving into is Coaching for Equity by @brightmorningtm Excited for her book study 🙌🏻 I have a question: We know how valuable/insightful data can be from shadowing a S for a day. Any #DASDpride admin or T do this in the last year or two?

Reflections from the summer on our ‘immovable mountains’ in education. What keeps us from real change?

@Mrs_Akis @SBclassroom @ncte @TG2Chat I like the idea that students might be able to answer the essential question(s) of the unit in a way that they choose. I’ve had students make songs, pottery, or other applications/comparisons to another text. I am always amazed at what happens when you provide a framework only.

I am looking for highly engaging enrichment activities/challenges/projects for my 9th and 11th grade English students who master standards before their peers. I would love to make a menu of ideas. Any input is welcome and much appreciated! @SBclassroom @ncte @TG2Chat
