Today we marked 97 years since women won the vote on equal terms with men with a commemorative photocall of women MP. Each MP received a personalised sash by @RemakeNewport, marking their place in the history of #WomenInParliament.

Today, Home Secretary @YvetteCooperMP has set out new measures to further protect women and girls.

Today I wrote to the Chief Executive of @NationalHways seeking ongoing & proactive action regarding the state of litter on the A2 through Gravesham which are the responsibility of National Highways. I would welcome the use of their powers to tackle this including prosecutions.

The Tories signed away billions of pounds worth of contracts to fraudsters and failed to deliver for our NHS. @RachelReevesMP will return stability to our public finances.

Today I have written to @LouHaigh the new @UKLabour Secretary of State for Transport @transportgovuk regarding the Gravesend to Tilbury Ferry. I hope that the Government will encourage those with responsibility - @Kent_cc & @thurrockcouncil to work together for residents.

It’s coming home!!!
