KISS - Keep It Simple Stupid is the model that works, its boring and not sexy but works. We did this at @syscoin but paid for it by being arb'ed against the constant meme markets and VC driven narratives centered around niceties rather than security/decentralization. With cryptography and advancements around ZK and simple settlement layers that are "boring" I agree its all possible but having the balls to do it requires resources which requires the board room meetings that allocatoors have to decide that safety is a priority now for the best of all rather than benefit of a few.

If you left this campaign believing that blockchain infrastructure should be for real problems, real builders, and real communities, then you already know where you belong. The Syscoin community in LatAm is the one building that way. Come join it or start your own.

Alot of misinformation here because NEVM is for settlement not for retail, zkSYS which we are launching is showing you how to scale in a modular way properly. It's called seperation of concerns in software and ensuring we seperate scale from security. The blocktimes are purposefully high on L1 and zk layers (migrating from rollux) is where activity should be. It has taken 10+ years to get here because thats how long its taken for the design/crypto to mature to get here, it simply wasn't possible before and it is now.

Binance has announced the delisting of Syscoin. It’s disappointing, no question about it. A lot of you are probably feeling pretty frustrated right now, and we get it. But this doesn’t change what Syscoin is or where we’re headed. We’ve been building for over 11 years , we were here before Binance, we kept building through everything with them, and we’ll still be building long after they’re gone. The network is solid, the tech keeps moving forward, the ecosystem is alive, and this community hasn’t lost an ounce of strength. We’ve come out tougher after every challenge before. This time won’t be any different. We’re still here. Still shipping. Still improving. @notsofast @robustus @blknoiz06 Im not against alts. But they need to provide a purpose that BTC cant on its own. Syscoin for example will give BTC a way to access ZKrollup utility, stay secured by its own BTC miners, with no compromises to fundamentals. An alt that works with BTC instead of competes is the way

Why is Syscoin hard to explain? Because four different crypto tribes got locked in a room with one whiteboard… and somehow shipped an architecture. @syscoin

Intelligence positively correlates with coordination instead of making it irrelevant, just makes the need for coordination more efficient AND secure! A classical computer is given a set budget and regenerates its budget over computing cycles to arrive to deterministic output. However systems or beings with intelligence is given no such set budget and resources do not regenerate, thus there is contention at play and it has therefor a coordination requirement for governance and decision making (the standard fault tolerance and audibility/transparency that our blockchains allow for). The input may be deterministic but not the output. As we stop discounting future human generations in our decision making processes (The Kennith Arrow social welfare function) we depend on the safety, security, robustness and future-proofing of these design principles that allow us to maximally truth-seek, at the expense of time. The need for decentralized technologies to solve coordination problems does not retrace but expands as intelligence increases. So the future role of blockchain is not "AI coordination" in the soft sense. The future role is hard settlement: - AI handles deliberation. - Blockchain-like systems handle commitment, ordering, audit, execution, and finality. Governance has two layers: 1) Epistemic/governance layer. What should we do? What is true? What is fair? What policy should govern allocation? 2) Settlement layer. Once the rule is chosen, what actually happened? Who owns what? Which action counted? Which vote passed? Which claim is final? AI is strong in layer 1. Blockchain-like systems are strong in layer 2.
