@aj_inapi That’s exactly the reason why a lot of us voted for him! He was t a politician! The political parties on both sides have really done nothing for We the People! Most of them have lined their pockets! It’s disgusting! All the fraud!

Did President Trump know his approval rating could drop if he approved Operation Epic Fury? YES.
Did he know it could split his base? YES.
Did he know some people would blame Israel? YES.
Did he know the media and Democrats would try to sabotage the operation politically? YES.
Did he know oil and gas prices might temporarily rise? YES.
Was he probably advised not to do it? Very likely.
Did he receive the same intelligence briefings every President has received for the past 47 years? YES.
So the real question is not what did he know?
The real question is: Why did he do it anyway?
COURAGE.
The same courage that made him stand up in Butler after being shot and say:
“Fight, Fight, Fight.”
The same courage that made him run for re-election after:
~ Two impeachments
~ Endless investigations
~ FBI raids
~ Court cases
~ Media attacks every single day
~ Being banned from social media
~ Assassination attempts
~ Political lawfare designed to bankrupt and imprison him
Most politicians protect their approval rating.
Most politicians protect their career.
Most politicians follow the polls.
Most politicians do what is safe.
Leaders do what they believe is necessary, even when it is unpopular.
Trump is not a politician.
He is a leader.
And leaders don’t make decisions based on polls.
They make decisions based on what they believe is right for the country - even if it costs them politically.
That’s the difference.

@nives369 @AriFleischer lol...Trump wants to abolish income taxes and gave working people the biggest tax cuts ever
sit down idiot

I’m reliably told he routinely flys first class.
Socialism works well for hypocrites.

Bernie “First Class” Sanders flying to 1 of his 3 homes. Fight the Oligarchy!

@futurehopevibes @JasminLaine_ I’m sure you don’t….because you are a Liberal and you don’t realize that there are millions of people who are extremely frustrated by what has happened to our country over the past 11 years. You don’t hear them screaming at all.
English

With Pierre Poilievre’s recent trips/speeches/interviews, I think this is the first time (perhaps in our history) that the opposition leader has been more relevant, impactful and meaningful, than our elected government.
I’ve never heard Prime Minister Carney relate to the every day person, or industry leaders/diplomats at a level like this.
Sure, he uses big words, and says things that make you feel virtuous and morally superior… but there’s no substance to it—reflective in our data.
It’s no wonder the establishment works so tireless to shame and vilify conservatives in this nation 🤷♀️
Canadians may have elected Carney on a false promise to get a deal with our largest trading partner… though, fate may have it that the only person who actually cared about our quality of life and economy, was the man they tried so hard to silence so they could cling onto power—without results—just a little bit longer before we realize that the only crises was their policies. The only danger was them not reversing them. And the only division, has been the names they call everyone who questions them.
Canada needs a real leader. Not a world economic forum keynote speaker.
English

@LauraLoomer No, most people don’t think like this.
And even fewer lack the class and emotional restraint to make a post like this.
I hope this serves as the fact check you needed.
Are you actually really like this?

@DragonOfWales @TheDailyShow Serious question… why are you holding these woman to a higher standard than the president himself?
English

@TheDailyShow No they didn't.
You should always accept an invitation from the President in that situation.
It's the country and office you respect, even if you don't like the President.
English

@TheDavidBowers @blueaegis42 @SpencerHakimian @charise_lee I’m not American, but I would say your president is disrespecting the office of the president with more consistency and skill than any other example I could possibly conceive. Congrats on the gold.
English

@blueaegis42 @SpencerHakimian @charise_lee I agree. Regardless of your personal and/or political differences, that is disrespectful to your country and the people of it. It is a singular honor of respect and appreciation from your country. You don’t shoot the ‘messenger!’
English

Nope. Raise my hand here. Same. First of all, look at how unimpressive the location is. It is literally in an intersection in the city. Like, a grocery store and and a CVS might be next to it(hyperbole). A cathedral of this scale and scope should be in a part of the city like a nipple is on a breast. Like a highlight. Then the architecture. One side is this weird child like imagination laced thing, the other is a Gothic dream that is totally out of place and doesn't match or communicate with the other side at all.
English

Am I the only who has always found this to be a monstrosity?

@CullenColeman69 @WhiteHouse We’re sad, but honestly, that game represented the best of sport. It was great to watch as was the woman’s. Congrats.
English

@drmeghanwalker @WhiteHouse Canada was the better team. I'd be upset too.
English

@WhiteHouse Now we annex Canada. Both US hockey teams destroyed Canadian hockey teams
English

@WhiteHouse Imagine being Canadian right now. And you lose to trump USA in the only thing you do really well.
Bring on England in the world cup final.

This photo is emblematic of our culture’s values. It is real, vulnerable and the opposite of the divisive politics that is permeating the tapestry of both our neighbours to the south and so much of the world. Canada is not perfect. But I would stand behind values and images like this any day.
Thomas Watson@ThomasWatsonCD
There are very few countries in the world where the Head of State, Head of Government, and Leader of the Opposition drop everything, come together, hold hands, and grieve like this. This is my Canada and the Canada I am proud to be raising a family in.
English

@nicksortor Could you maybe share a list of concrete examples of how America is exactly winning right now? I’m not sure that this is your biggest challenge.
English

@princesspie27 @Andyc2410 @annamlulis What countries are using this approach to successfully defend their boarders?
English

@Andyc2410 @annamlulis Why does no one else seem to have e a problem with other countries defending their borders and enforcing their immigration laws, but for some reason if Americans want this we are racists?
English

@RonnieAEvans @susansites This isn’t a political post, it’s a human post. This should feel sad, reprehensible and deeply incongruent with what the world believed were American values. Thank you for your humanity. Sending hope and peace to your country.
English

I’m sorry. I try not to post political stuff.
But I just watched a video of ICE officers attack a man who was helping a woman up, pin him on the ground, take his (legally owned) gun he NEVER attempted to holster, and then 6 officers shot him to death.
He was white (not important to me but def to MAGA assholes).
He was a citizen.
He was simply helping another citizen get up.
And he was pinned to the ground, disarmed and THEN ecexuted by masked agents working for Donald Trump’s gestapo.
Fuck you if you support this.
English

My whole life I have viewed the United States as an ally. We own property there are and pay taxes. Being viewed as a friend and ally around the world is a powerful version of security. An administration willing to deploy a policy like this on behalf of it's people is shockingly short-sighted. cp24.com/news/world/202…

What’s unfolding in Iran may be the most consequential and underreported story in the world. Free elections there won’t just be a human rights victory. The fall of the Ayatollahs will release tens of millions of people, who come from one of the most creative civilizations in history. Iranian culture has shaped art, science and innovation for centuries. Suppressing it hurts not just Iranians, but humanity as a whole.
