@michaelshermer I trust it's part of the process. We got a reality check that atheism and secular humanism aren't enough. Some backpedal now in panic into religion, but it's a burnt path. The only way is pushing forward to find a reason compatible missing piece. My bet is on Secular Stoicism

Whenever I talk about a positive future for the UK I get a bunch of negative comments - “England has fallen”, “Sort out the grooming gangs first” etc.. Yes, we have many serious problems. Much of our elite is neck deep in them and won’t fix them. BUT we are, fundamentally, a great country. We have a fantastic culture. World class education. We have an entrepreneurial spirit. We just need a chance to thrive, and we will once we have replaced the tired elites across our institutions, with new blood. People that understand how the modern world works, and what it takes to build things.
