The SOT Serilingampally of Cyberabad team raided on illegal Ginger-Garlic paste manufacturing unit at Sri Nagar Colony, Patancheru, arrested the manufacturer. Seized Property : 📌 530 KGs adulterated Ginger Garlic paste. 📌 Synthetic food colors. 📌 Various chemical agents which are using for adulteration. Total seized property Value : ₹3.63 Lakhs.

Crackdown on Adulterated Food items continue by @hydcitypolice , the #HFAST seized 4032 kgs of #Adulterated and #Unhygienic Ginger 🫚 Garlic Paste at the premises of SKR Food Products at Kattedan, #Mailardevpally limits, #Hyderabad , the #GingerGarlicPaste , supplying to Restaurants, wholesale and retail shops in city, arrested one person. On credible information, the sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, Khairtabad Zone Team, along with H-Fast team Hyderabad, conducted a surprise inspection at premises SKR Food Products located at # Plot No. 25, Survey No. 42 & 43, SEIE, IDA, Kattedan, Hyderabad under the limits of Mailardevpally PS. During the inspection, (01) accused person by name Hasan Ali Rupani, (55) Owner of (SKR Food Products) was engaged in the manufacture of ginger and garlic paste in plastic containers under highly unhygienic conditions. The production involved the use of inferior quality raw materials and garlic peels, indicating adulteration. Further, the accused was found to be mixing substances such as acetic acid, and xanthan gum powder. The prepared paste was stored in open plastic tubs, exposed to dust, flies, and other contaminants. Packaging material and food grade certificate not provided, and food handlers were using wooden stick for grinding the ginger & garlic paste. The adulterated product was being supplied to wholesale Kirana stores and food catering services, thereby posing a serious risk to public health. The activity appears to have been carried out for unlawful financial gain. Facts of the case: The accused individual, Hasan Ali Rupani who is engaged in manufacturing and sale of Ginger & Garlic Paste by using adulterate products, and supplies large quantities to restaurants, wholesale shops and retail shops in an around Hyderabad thereby gaining huge profits. Rupani Khasam Bhai, Owner of SKR Food Products R/o. Chirag Ali Lane, Abids for manufacturing adulterated ginger-garlic paste. The unit was operating in unhygienic conditions, using inferior raw materials and additives like acetic acid and xanthan gum, with no proper food safety standards. The products were supplied to restaurants and retail outlets, posing a serious public health risk. Authorities seized over 4032 kg of adulterated paste, 6210 kg of low-quality raw materials, and related items worth about ₹22 lakh. The accused and seized materials were handed over to Mailardevpally Police for further action.
