I’m not asking you, I’m telling you. Take a moment and listen to this 81 second response from Victor Glover after being asked if he had any thoughts leading up to Easter. I don’t quite think it can be overstated how perfect this crew is for the job.

This is in the police bus that hauled us off when we were arrested. We sang. And laughed. And refused to let the weariness and violence overwhelm us. Joy is an act of resistance. [With handcuffs on, I managed to get my phone out of my pocket and record this little video inside the bus. My pal Ben Cohen (co-founder of Ben & Jerry’s) was also arrested, and was pretty impressed by my Houdini-style maneuver.] Keep singing. Keep laughing. Keep shining in the darkness. Death will not have the final word. Love wins.

🚨 HORRIFIC night in the West Bank. Israeli settler terrorists are now carrying out a pogrom in the village of Jalud in the West Bank, setting homes on fire and opening fire on civilians. People are pleading for help.

For decades, living standards have been hammered while billionaires have cashed in. On 7th May, we can win big and make hope normal again. I'm running in Brixton. We will win or lose on how many people we can turn out. Wherever you are, now is the time to get active.

Terrifying reality check. Al Jazeera confirms the US and Israel have bombed over 760 schools and 350 health centers in Iran. They are intentionally obliterating mental health hospitals and residential markets. The scale of these war crimes is absolutely sickening.

@ChiefPieEater So, are you saying, furlough payments, which means giving people 80% of their income (instead of them receiving 100%) is what drove up house prices? If you can't see the flaw in your logic, I'm going to have to assume you're a bot.

Again, look at the chart. M4 money growth, passed to the banks as M4 lending growth shows how the government debt was collaterialised into house price growth as new lending drove house prices AND household M4 deposits. Last, inflation destroying monetary value. Who knows capital, who doesn't. And you want to blame boomers for that? You are not credible.

@ChiefPieEater Sir, are you seriously saying that house prices increased because people went from 100% of their income to 80% of their income? Remember, that's what furlough was - it paid you 80% if you got fired.

@dron_econ That is what this chart proves, yes, furlough did. Why? It was paid for by QE. So, going, to blame boomers for that, and for the tranches of QE from 2009 onwards? You have no credibility.

@ChiefPieEater Unemployed people getting 80% of their salaries didn't cause asset price inflation. The answer you're looking for is Quantitative Easing, which started in 2008. That was to bail out the banks for poor decisions made predominantly by - you guessed it - Boomers.

@dron_econ Did you agree with furlough? Here's some obvious news to you, money printing inflates asset prices. Who did that? A new pensioner in their home, or Government's spending like drunk sailors?
