You just landed in Australia. It’s the 26th of January. You’re excited and want to see the city. You grab an Uber with your cousin and, as you arrive, you see one group of white people wearing Hamas keffiyehs holding signs that say “Invasion Day” while they burn the Australian flag and chant “Death to Australia.” You turn the corner and another group of white people are waving Australian flags, shouting “It’s Australia Day!” and telling you to “go back, we’re full.”, as a few of them get into the Uber with your cousin to head back home. The next day you line up at Centrelink. The brown person working behind the counter that's also your cousin hears about your first day, looks at you, shrugs, and says, “This is what they do… but don’t worry, both these groups will end up paying your benefits.” While you’re waiting in line, your local Member of Parliament walks in for a photo opportunity, shakes a few hands, looks in your direction and cheerfully wishes you a “Happy Indian Republic Day.” This is a true story. Sort of.

The first I read about @doodles new mint was from a scam email saying to link my solana wallet. Which was hours after the OG window closed. Cmon guys do better?!! Then a pivot and I miss out again. Lmao what a flop.

Doodles made a decision to decrease Doopies supply from 25K to 8888 What appeared to be a slow moving mint with a higher supply ended up being minted out an hour after the supply change Wonder how much Doodles made from this? Here’s my computation: Collector Cubes - 2181 sold (1 sol each) Hyper Cubes - 800 sold (3 sol each) They made roughly $600K from this mint. Not bad at this market Obviously, on a better NFT market (ie 2-3yrs ago), they would have sold out 25K supply and make $2-$3Mn Idk if the team minted from this for the reopening of the claim window for Doodles and Dooplicator holders so the profit from this mint for them might be a lot less than $600K I commend the Doodles team for: 1️⃣ doing a pivot on the collection supply 2️⃣ looking after their holders who aren’t able to claim by reopening claim window These moves will hurt their bottom line from this mint. But if I were them, I’d do the same It’s more important to correct the sentiment towards mint as doing otherwise would butcher the future of the brand ( • -) •

Hey guys, I had a chat with @AdamWeitsman and showed him the pets we’re making. He loved them but then he dropped the bomb: every single pet has to be unique. Not just the legendaries, commons, epics, all of them, every single one a 1/1. Adam doesn’t care about the cost, he just wants this to be legendary. The man is basically saying Make it unforgettable we’ll figure out the bill later. 😂

Something I have been thinking about with regards to the NFT Strategy tokens is the effect of volume traded in the tokens Let's look at this example using $1m of traded volume $1m of volume traded = 10% in fees / $100k Of this 1% goes to buy and burn $PNKSTR The other 1% goes to the project and if they are smart they use this 1% to buy and burn the token or other ways that may benefit the flywheel So you have 9% or $90k per $1m traded that goes towards buying the floor nfts of the collection (assuming each project used their 1% towards the nfts) Lets see how far $90k goes in each collection of the ones already trading and those coming up. The number below will be how many nfts are bought $PNKSTR - $178k NFT floor = .50 of 1 Punk $BIRBSTR - $11k NFT floor = 8.18 Moonbirds $SQUIGSTR - $18k NFT floor = 5 Squiggles $DICKSTR - $5.5k NFT floor = 16.36 CDButts $APESTR - $37k NFT floor = 2.43 Apes $PUDGYSTR - $40k NFT floor = 2.25 Pudgys $MEEBSTR - $3.8k NFT floor = 23.68 Meebits $TOADZSTR - $3.3k NFT floor = 27.27 Toadz $GOBSTR - $1165 NFT floor = 77 Goblins $CHECKSTR - $1900 NFT floor = 47 Checks $MAXSTR - $3700 NFT floor = 24 Max Pain $VIBESTR - $1950 NFT floor = 46 Good Vibes Club $MILADYSTR - $7500 NFT floor = 12 Milady Now spend some time seeing how these numbers effect the amount of free floating nfts for sale in each collection Some floors are thicker Remember as people see volume in the token and more being bought this sees demand into the nft as well - I have some other ideas around how this can benefit projects but will stay quiet on that for now
