I can’t describe how happy I am right now.
Something that felt nearly impossible a few years ago just became reality.
My obsession with CryptoPunks started years back, when buying even a floor Punk felt like a huge achievement. Getting one you could truly “immortalize yourself in” was nearly impossible… let alone pairing it with its V1 Punk.
Over time, I realized I wanted a Big Beard Punk. That wasn’t easy. I hesitated many times… until my 40th birthday, when I finally pulled the trigger.
My first Big Beard Punk was great, but it had the “stringy hair” trait, one I never loved. So I kept watching the market, and a few days ago, @whynotmeNFT listed his Big Beard Punk, with Shaved Hair and Earning, which I really liked. I reached out, we agreed on a deal, and with the help of @justinaversano it was done.
My forever Punk had arrived!!!
But then… I looked for its V1 pairing. Turns out it was in the hands of @tonyherrera, a gentleman I’d met at a Web3 event. I told him I wanted to complete my Punk’s provenance, and guess what? He proposed a swap with another V1 Big Beard I owned.
And just like that… I completed the full provenance of my Punks.
My Big Beard Punk and its V1 brother, finally reunited.
