The Legend of Zelda turns 40 this weekend! 🎊 To celebrate, I thought it would be fun to post my entire strategy guide, along with production shots from when I was working on it and some additional thoughts. So, whether you've seen this guide a million times or not, I hope you learn something new. We'll start with the cover. The cover is essentially my take on the classic Disk System flyer. I love this ad and thought it would be fun to pay tribute to it. As you can see Link doesn't have a shield on the original art piece. I struggled with that and added a shield in post. I thought it worked much better that way. I also did a little bit of touch up on both Link and Zelda's faces. Note: This is broken up into TWO large threads since I've maxed this out!
