@CJFerguson1111@stats_feed I appreciate your perspective, but "moral panic" is not an argument. Do you disagree with the primary statement that this long-standing trend of improving test scores has stopped in the past 10-20 years?
Neuroscientist study reveals that Gen Z has become the first generation to be less intelligent than its predecessor, the Millennials.
For the first time in 100 years, young people are scoring lower than their parents on IQ tests and core skills like memory, reading, and focus. This is happening mainly in the US and Europe.
The main cause appears to be excessive screen time and digital device use, particularly in schools and social settings. While some suggest Gen Z is just developing different skills, research shows actual declines in fundamental problem-solving abilities.
@Danko8c Lots of good stuff! Will be great to have a centralized place for all this data. Would love to get my hands on some lineup/play by play data to do some apm/rapm variants

@DeanO_Lytics Nice! Big improvement. Any chance we could get potential layup assists or something to help further disentangle the passer from the finisher?
One notable aspect of the ESPN Analytics box score that I look at a lot is how many assists for layups that a player has.
Alperen Sengun has several tonight, including a highlight to Amen after a missed FT by Amen.
He had five in his last game

@cremieuxrecueil Why are you using a low powered analysis as proof of no effect. You should be more clear that this also is not evidence opposing increased muscle loss. really bad manipulation of how it works. And this seems to be using the drug that famously retains more muscle than other GLP1s.
The biggest controversy surrounding GLP-1 drugs is whether they cause excess muscle loss🧵
We now have an answer: "No."
Compared to weight loss by diet or surgery, GLP-1RA-induced weight loss is comparable in its effects on lean body mass.
