It was quite an adventure getting to Houston today, but well worth it to get to spend time with this great group!

We are off and running!

I am grateful for the education leaders who agreed to serve on our 1st board. They heard my vision and trusted me to turn it into a reality and I’m honored that 33 districts have already joined in this work. Together, we will push public education in NTX to be the best it can be!

🧵It’s official! As of today, I start my next adventure as the Executive Director of @NTX_EC, a nonprofit of school districts in NTX. Through collaboration and engaging with stakeholders regarding education policy, we will make better futures for all our students!

I’m super excited to share this publication which marks the first major project for my new role with the North Texas Education Coalition! I’ll be starting full-time in July and can’t wait to dive all-in to this new adventure!

A super common misconception is that public schools prioritize administrators over classrooms and teachers. But that’s not supported by the data. 👇👇👇
