Today I was in derma OPD. Or medicine ka name par Cetrizine, permethrin, coamoxiclav or ak 2 steroids. No antifungals were present .or max patients fungl inf ka tha and doctors are not allowed ka wo bahir sa medicine likhain . we are doomed.ab tenia wala ko steroids likh dain??

لوگ سمجھتے ہیں کہ تھکن زیادہ کام کرنے سے ہوتی ہے۔ حقیقت میں زیادہ تھکن بار بار دھیان بدلنے سے ہوتی ہے۔ ہر چند منٹ بعد فون، نوٹیفکیشن اور بے مقصد scrolling دماغ کو اندر سے تھکا دیتی ہے۔

راولپنڈی میں "Cosmesurge"ہسپتال سید پور روڈ پر ۔۔ جہاں ڈلیوری کے دوران بچے کو قینچی لگی اور بچے کی ڈیتھ ہو گئ۔۔شہرمیں گلی گلی نرسنگ ہوم یاہسپتالوں کے نام پر مذبحہ خانوں میں قصائی بیٹھے ہیں ۔کوئی پوچھے گا؟

4000 doctors left Pakistan in 2025! No jobs. Limited PG seats. Exploitative private MO salaries. Doctors aren’t leaving Pakistan for luxury anymore ,they’re leaving to survive. Maybe this system truly prefers quacks over qualified doctors. @KamalMQM @MaryamNSharif

پتہ نہیں ہم کس غلط فہمی میں جی رہے ہیں کہ گفتگو کے بنیادی آداب تک بھول چکے ہیں۔ اختلافِ رائے ہو تو دلیل دینے کے بجائے فوراً گالیوں پر اتر آتے ہیں، جیسے تہذیب کی کوئی حد باقی ہی نہ رہی ہو۔

I don’t know where these outdated 90s-era statistics are coming from, because in my workplace I see many capable female doctors working alongside me, actively contributing and excelling in their roles rather than portraying themselves as victims.

A random post claimed that only 20% of female doctors are working because a “patriarchal society” doesn’t allow the rest to practice. When I asked a simple question—who is providing them jobs and opportunities—I was immediately labeled a misogynist.

Literally anyone can come in govt hospital,threaten/harrass any doctor,record video and can get your terminated within a day without any context or enquiry.This has to be the worst country for docs where govt encourges hostile and intidimating environment against hospital staff

@Ya_kso I have stopped intervening in random patient or accident situations due to public behavior and medicolegal concerns.

Instead, he started explaining to people what could cause convulsions, the mechanisms, possible triggers, all the textbook stuff. But he never stepped forward to actually help her. And that moment felt… off. Is it Detachment? Burnout? Or something else entirely?

Today I witnessed something I can’t stop thinking about. A woman suddenly collapsed at a lounge and started convulsing. People rushed in confused, scared, trying to help but not really knowing what to do. Right there, a doctor was nearby… playing snooker. He didn’t move.

There is no inherent right or wrong in morality itself; it is power that defines and distorts them. Give power to anyone—regardless of age, gender, or race—and it will inevitably be misused. Power tends to corrupt, and this pattern has remained unchanged throughout history.

@mataarkaraily @MaryamNSharif People only show outrage when they think a doctor is at fault. Otherwise, they don’t really care whether someone lives or dies. I have seen them leave even their own parents at the hospital and disappear.

Is case py Q mass reaction nhi ha? This is actually a concerning thing. Hospital staff never care about cross- infection protocols. They hardly know if there is any protocol! You should probe this yourself ma’am @MaryamNSharif This is extremely concerning!

میرا اے سی خراب ہو گیا تھا، میں نے ایک بندے کو بلایا کہ آ کر چیک کرے۔ اس نے 9 ہزار روپے کا بل بنا دیا (سروس چارجز الگ تھے)۔ پھر میں نے اپنے والد سے کہا کہ اپنے دوست کو بلا لیں۔ وہ تقریباً ایک ہفتے بعد آئے اور صرف 750 روپے میں کام ٹھیک کر گئے۔ 🤧 اور کہتے ہیں کہ ڈاکٹر لوٹتے ہیں۔

گوجرخان تحصیل ہیڈکوارٹر ہسپتال گوجرخان میں ایک آپریشن کے دوران انتظامیہ کی بے غیرتی چیک کریں مریضہ کو پہلے آپریشن کے لیے ضروری سامان باہر سے لانے کا کہا گیا جب مریضہ کے ساتھ آئی خاتون نے کہا کہ وزیر اعلی نے تو کہا کہ سب کچھ اندر سے ملے گا تو پھر فارمیسی بھیجا گیا مگر وہاں سے بھی مکمل سامان فراہم نہ کیا جا سکا، ڈاکٹر کی جانب سے دو جوڑے گلوز طلب کیے گئے لیکن فارمیسی نے صرف ایک جوڑا دیا اور دوسرے کے لیے مریضہ کو دوبارہ باہر سے خریدنے کا کہا گیا، اسی دوران مریضہ نے ویڈیو ریکارڈنگ شروع کر دی اور مریم نواز کے اس بیان کا حوالہ دیا کہ ہسپتالوں میں تمام ادویات اور سامان اندر سے فراہم کیا جائے گا اور باہر سے کچھ نہیں منگوایا جائے گا، جس پر مبینہ طور پر عملے کی جانب سے غیر سنجیدہ جواب دیا گیا کہ “وہ تو سارا دن کہتی رہتی ہیں”، واقعے کی ویڈیو سامنے آنے کے بعد نہ صرف ہسپتال انتظامیہ بلکہ محکمہ صحت کی کارکردگی پر بھی سوالیہ نشان کھڑا ہو گیا ہے جبکہ شہریوں نے مطالبہ کیا ہے کہ اس معاملے کی فوری تحقیقات کر کے ذمہ داروں کے خلاف کارروائی کی جائے تاکہ آئندہ مریضوں کو ایسی مشکلات کا سامنا نہ کرنا پڑے۔

@ghuman_ar مجھے بھی پتہ لگا کےایک ہسپتال میں IV Cannula نہ ہونے پر آپریشن کینسل کر دیا لیکن باہر سے کچھ نہی منگوایا ۔ اور میرا خیال ہے یہ ایک اچھا اقدم تھا ۔
