A friend reminded this banger of a BGM from the movie Yugapurusha. Situation: Raja plays a Guitar solo which leads to play a particular tune (ಕೇಳಿ ಪ್ರೇಮಿಗಳೇ…) which steered to delve his past life where he was Ravivarma, who got killed near Kali Gudi by Kaminidevi…

In the vent-melting heat, a swami with handicapped legs is walking kilometers, heading towards Sabarimala. The Ayyappa prayer begins from his lips. Without tiring, he moves forward with devotion, passing through Chemmalamattom town under the scorching afternoon sun. Such unwavering devotion and sacrifice truly reflect the greatness of Sanatana Dharma. Overcoming physical limitations through the power of the spirit, this example stands as a testament to the eternal beauty and strength of Sanatana Dharma. #SwamiyeSharanamAyyappa #Sabarimala VC : biju_chemmalamattom

I have been posting the same since 2018, every time Bengaluru wakes up to flooding. Nothing has changed, same old story. Governments change, that’s it. First posted on Facebook in 2018. Not edited even a word! Situation has not changed a bit. Tragedy. Reposting. - Bengaluru is beyond repair. The city is in a mess. When it rains, it looks like a poor African city. Why? Bengaluru has 28 MLAs in the BBMP limits and 4 more in the outskirts. It has four Lok Sabha members including Bengaluru Rural. Unfortunately, all these MLAs and MPs irrespective of their political affiliations have formed a powerful cartel. They are hand in glove with unscrupulous contractors and government officials. These MLAs help one another, protect each other's interests and never attack one another except during the elections just to fool the gullible voters. They dine and wine together in the night. Some are business partners. Some MLAs have been in power continuously for 30 years. Some 20 years and the rest 10-15 years. Most are grooming their children. Rarely a new candidate gets ticket or wins. About 50 families across political parties run the city. These MLAs are treating Bengaluru like their inheritance, divided among the cousins or family members. MLAs have their own Corporators, engineers and other officials to keep this arrangement safe and strong. It is like a huge mafia kind of operation. That's why they are least bothered about infrastructure or branding. Bengaluru has the most insensitive MLAs with zero concern for the public. Perennial traffic jams to chaotic public transport, nothing bothers them. Of course as long as they get their commission. This kind of arrangement helps all. All can make money and perpetuate the power. If the Bengaluru voters want a radical change, then defeat all the 28 MLAs. Elect new ones. Give them one chance. If they don't deliver, throw them out. Try new ones again. They will learn. Or don't complain. Just keep quite. Bengaluru's problem is greed. Bottomless greed of its elected representatives. Bengaluru is a man-made disaster.
