I don’t think Team USA didn’t care. They were businesslike in their demeanor, sure. I think the narrative is that it’s hard for USA fans to care as much as other countries because their fandom lies with their MLB teams whereas other countries’ fans only have their national teams.

I’m tired of seeing that team USA didn’t care or didn’t show emotion. You have to have something to celebrate the entire tournament they played like the ‘25 Royals last June. If anything they cared too much and their buttholes coulda made grape juice out of a box of raisins.
