There is a sudden jump in views of Punch EV Reels which were shot 2 years back are getting great traction for the last 30-50 days. Definitely people are considering it because of its cost and rising fuel prices. These are 7 day stats. This is one car that deserves a lot of success and how Tata has made an honest effort in providing a quality affordable EV in budget and not just monkey-balancing for CAFE norms. I wish this car to do 10K+ units every month.

Instead of finding other solutions for energy and investments in EV, India was busy in providing freebies...

Vishal Sikka joined Infosys in 2014 to transform it, first non-founder CEO. He felt the old IT services model was dying. He pushed hard for AI and innovation. In 2015, he wanted Infosys to commit $1 Billion to OpenAI with Silicon Valley partners. Almost no one believed in it then. The board and founders said NO. Too risky. The business was stable and margin driven. Clashes with the board and founders followed. Sikka left Infosys in 2017. Today, you can see how far OpenAI has come, and the kind of valuations it commands. At the same time, IT stocks are under pressure as AI starts disrupting the traditional model. If Infosys had listened, the story would be very different. Do you think it was a massive blunder or the right decision?

Mahindra, as usual you don’t respond. I’ve also heard that you’re planning to take me to court for a defamation case that’s absolutely fine, you’re welcome. But this time, you need to answer this. What could be a bigger scam than selling cars that have already been in accidents, repairing them, and then passing them off as brand new to customers? How can a company operate at such a level? Your dealerships seem completely careless and fearless. Imagine the heartbreak of a customer who buys a “new” car, only to later discover it was already accidental. I will be sharing the owner’s details soon and I expect immediate action: deliver a genuinely new car and take strict action against the showroom and dealer involved. And for customers always make sure you are physically present during the PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection). Never skip it. Unfortunately, many people still don’t even know what PDI is, and that’s where the problem begins! 🙏🏻

The ill-fated cruise that capsized in Jabalpur killed 9, with several still missing. Look, no life jackets. Survivors said they asked the crew to turn back when winds worsened, but were ignored. Life jackets were given only after cruise began capsizing. Another reminder: avoid deep water activities in India unless you can swim well. Operators don’t use life jackets. Even when they do, they are cheap, low-quality, poorly maintained, or outright substandard, sometimes waterlogged, torn, or with failing straps, just to tick a box. Certification labels are missing or meaningless, and regular inspection or replacement is rare.

In United States, students who succeed on merit are rewarded with: • National Merit Scholarship Program • Research opportunities • Admission to top universities like MIT, Stanford or Harvard Universities. • High-paying job offers from companies like Google and Microsoft Meanwhile in India - - Merit my foot - Merit is casteism - Merit is privilege - Merit has a narrow concept That's the Irony.

No need to come back. Indians must understand the difference between Bharat, the oldest unbroken dharmic civilization since the Bronze Age, and India, a modern nation-state governed by a democratic system since 1947. Your love and gratitude for Bharat should not be weaponized as a guilt trip to pull you back to India, where merit is devalued, corruption is normalized, adulteration is rampant, civic sense is poor, pollution is pervasive, babushahi stifles efficiency, appeasement and freebies shape policy, and mobs dictate terms to democratically elected governments. Bharat stays with you. Wherever you go, the civilization goes with you. If you want to preserve and carry forward that civilization, practice dharmic righteousness wherever you are and uphold its values through your conduct, work, and integrity. You don't have to be in India for it.

Open letter to Indians in America. -- Dear brothers and sisters from Bharat: Like I did 37 years ago, you arrived in America with no money but with a good education and cultural heritage from Bharat. You achieved outstanding success. America was good to us. For that we must remain grateful - gratitude is our Bharatiya way. Yet today, a significant number of Americans, may be not the majority but not too far from it either, believe that Indians "take away" American jobs and our success in America was unfairly earned. You may think the next election will fix this, but your choice would be between people who hate our Bharatiya civilisation and people who hate civilisation itself. That is the "hard right" vs "woke left" battle. You are mere bystanders to that conflict. Meanwhile there is one thing that is true now and will be true in the future: the respect Indians command world-wide will substantially depend on the fortunes of India herself. If India remains poor, the woke left will give us moral lectures with pity and the hard right, different moral lectures with scorn ("hellhole") and we must not confuse either with respect. Respect in today's world, along with prosperity and security, comes from one source: a nation's technological prowess. India produces sufficient brain power to achieve that prowess but alas we exported so much of that talent, particularly to America. As we develop that prowess in India, our civilisational strength will assert itself. As difficult as it is for many of you to contemplate this, please come back home. Bharat Mata needs your talent. Our vast youthful population needs the technology leadership you gained over the years to guide them towards prosperity. Let's do it with a missionary zeal. Respectfully Sridhar Vembu

In Andhra Pradesh, we saw those who swore to protect environment ruthlessly cut down trees, destroyed forests and enabled the smuggling of our vital ecological resources for selfish gain. And then, on the other end of the spectrum, we have a humble person whose life was a total dedication to nature - Saalumarada Thimmakka, the woman known simply as the "Mother of Trees." From a small village in Karnataka, Thimmakka and her husband found their life's purpose when they couldn't have children. They chose to raise a family of green. With pure love and daily labour, they gifted the world a breathtaking canopy, planting and nurturing over 8,000 trees, including 375 majestic banyan trees. Her life was not about seeking power or wealth; it was a vow of unconditional love to Mother Earth. Today, at 114 years young, this legendary protector of nature has finally left us. Her life is a powerful lesson in true public service. On behalf of JanaSena, I offer my deepest respects to the great Saalumarada Thimmakka. We have lost our mother of Trees, but her spirit remains with us. She continues to inspire us all to work toward environmental conservation, to plant trees in our communities, and to become the responsible citizens our planet desperately needs.

RIP 🕯️ James Watson, the co-discoverer of the DNA double helix, has passed away today at the age of 97. In 1953, together with Francis Crick, he unraveled the structure of DNA , a discovery that forever transformed our understanding of life itself. Their groundbreaking work revolutionized the entire field of genetics, earning them the Nobel Prize in 1962. Watson’s discovery revealed that within every cell lies the complete story of life , written in the elegant code of DNA. His passing marks the end of an era in science, #medtwitter
