It was insightful & enlightening experience at the 200Ha cactus farm of Mr. Gaetano in San Cono, Sicily. His biomass dryer has capacity of 50T of cactus cladodes monthly for pharmaceutical use. He produces 600T fresh cactus fruits annually.

Happy to see our project in Kenya moving forward. We have now 10 households using biodigesters to produce energy from a co-digestion of cactus and manure! Thanks Prof. Willis Owino from JKUAT for the collaboration and to dryGrow Foundation for the funding! @UF_IFAS

Getting set with the installation of biodigesters in Laikipia, Kenya. This is part of our project expansion aimed at sustainable management of the invasive cactus to produce biogas. The effluent will be used for kitchen gardening. Thanks to @dubeux @2012Willis #Sustainability
