I just learned that John Nesselroade, developmental psychologist and methodologist @UVA passed away. My dissertation was based in large part on John's work, and he was a hugely influential figure in our field. Read his work-- always lucid and incredibly thoughtful. RIP

Our field has increased a lot in gender diversity in recent decades, but there are still big issues with who we are handing the mic to (workshops, invites speakers, panels, keynotes). We need both diversity and INCLUSION.
