Yesterday, I was looking for a new partner from the United States. I posted about it on Discord, and someone contacted me saying he lives in the US. We had a video call, and he showed me his driver’s license and everything. I was really happy because he seemed honest. He told me he was born in California, grew up there, moved to New York in 2013, stayed there until December last year, and is now in Missouri since January. He also said he graduated from San Francisco State University and studied electrical engineering. He even showed me his bachelor’s degree. Everything looked professional and real. I agreed to work with him and asked him to work with me on a PC. But he said he mostly uses his phone, and his PC screen was broken, and the charger was also damaged. So he said he needed to fix the screen and buy a new charger. I felt a bit suspicious, but I believed him because everything he showed looked real. He asked me for $70 to fix everything. I paid him, and he said he went to a repair shop. I asked him to have a video call, but he refused. He said the shop didn’t allow him to take videos or pictures. I understood at the time. But he still sent me a few pictures of the PC and even pictures of the repair shop to make me believe him. So I asked him, “If you can take pictures, why can’t you do a video call?” He didn’t answer my question and instead asked for more money to install the OS and buy the charger. I trusted him again and sent more money. Then he ghosted me and didn’t respond. Today, he came back and said he fixed the PC screen, but the money wasn’t enough, so he couldn’t install the OS or buy the charger. He asked more money for it... I asked for a video call again and told him to show me the PC. He showed it, but the screen was turned off. I asked him to press the power button, but he didn’t. Then, accidentally, he touched the mouse, and suddenly the screen turned on. It was a Windows system showing the login screen. He looked shocked and quickly moved the camera away. I said, “Hey, show me your PC screen.” He acted confused and said, “Eeh,, yeh? what? What are you saying? I can't hear you?” Then he turned off the PC and pointed the camera back, saying, “It doesn’t have an OS. it was turned off...” lol... stupid guy... Now he is still asking me to pay for internet and the operating system. After checking everything again, I realized he is a scammer. The US ID was fake, and the university degree was also fake. He is Nigerian scammer... Be careful. There are many scammers like this. These are picture of his discord, telegram, fake linkedin, fake id cards, fake PCs... #ScamAlert #OnlineScam #CryptoScam #DiscordScam #FreelanceScam #StartupLife #RemoteWork #EntrepreneurLife #TechScam #FraudAlert #StaySafeOnline #CyberSecurity #DigitalSafety #ScammerExposed #OnlineFraud #Beware #Web3 #CryptoCommunity #FounderLife #DevLife This is scammer.

Amazing how Kalshi influencers all just jump on the same anti polymarket story with the same talking points at exactly the same time. Totally organic!
