This Canadian is going to the moon next month, and the Canadian media is not talking about it. Why? Because this is an amazing American achievement, and we're too proud to acknowledge it.

This is interesting. We have a lot of people on this site ragging on boomers, relentlessly. In this post, we have the boomers wondering how to reach the younger set. We all need to get on the same page. Let's all please remember the objective. We need to get 1.3 to 1.4 million people to vote for independence. We need to reach everybody. We need everybody to turn out. If we get the 41% that wants independence to turn out and vote, we will win.

We had another full house in Calgary yesterday. During the Q&A someone asked how we reach the younger people? They seemed worried that there weren't many in the crowd. Here's my answer. "Don't equate the crowd tonight with the overall support for the movement. We reach people through small events like this, social media such as Facebook, one-on-one discussion, podcasts, living room meetings, ralies, road-side petition locations, and even mainstream media stories. Different groups engage differently. Older Albertans like to meet in settings like this. But right now, we also have more than 350 folks watching us while we live stream. Many are younger supporters, who have families, jobs, and can't take time out of their lives to come attend an in-person meeting at 7:00 pm on a Thursday." I can assure you from my own personal experience, especially as a canvasser who has collected over 600 signatures, that the movement is reaching across the entirety of Alberta's population. See you in Lethbridge tonight.

@FoodProfessor FFS not again. It fails every time. This one will fail. The next one will fail. Every time they blame someone other than the person they see when they brush their teeth in the morning.

BREAKING: Toronto approves city-run grocery stores In a 21–3 vote, councillors backed Anthony Perruzza’s plan to launch 4 municipally run stores to offer cheaper food. Big test for public retail.

🚨 BREAKING The Premier of Manitoba, Wab Kinew, thinks Trump started a war to distract from the Epstein files. Wab. Brother. You got charged with beating your girlfriend and refused to blow into a breathalyzer. You assaulted a cab driver and called him racial slurs. You had your own charges “stayed” by the system you now run. Maybe sit this one out 😖

The braindead Manitoba Premier Wab Kinew at it again; "No American child from the blue-collar or the middle class should have to die in Iran. Let the Epstein class fight the Epstein war." What does it have to do with Manitoba and why did this become his constant go to speech??

@Martyupnorth This also limits the distribution of goods in Canada. You can sell your goods at a farmer's market without bilingual labeling. This applies to your county and any adjacent county. You need to add bilingual labels to sell outside of home +1.

⚠️ Canada’s bilingualism policy isn’t “inclusion” , it’s straight-up wealth redistribution with a Quebec twist. Only bilingual applicants (ie mostly Quebecers who already speak French at home) get the inside track on federal jobs, promotions, and contracts. Unilingual English speakers from the rest of Canada? Tough luck, you’re locked out of your own government. Do we really need all our senior military and police officers to be bilingual? Ottawa wastes hundreds of millions every year on translation services, bilingual signage, forced French training programs, and endless bureaucratic overhead. All while Canada’s productivity collapses under the weight of this pointless red tape. It's one of Trump's beefs. American businesses trying to operate here are fed up. They shake their heads at the extra paperwork, dual-language filings, mandatory “services in both official languages” mandates, and the added costs that deliver zero value to 90% of customers or shareholders. We bend over backwards to cater to Quebec while the rest of the country foots the bill. And now Ottawa is shamelessly politicizing the tragedy in New York by attacking the Air Canada president because he doesn’t speak French. Give me a break. Canada’s own Governor General doesn’t speak French. Mark Carney doesn’t speak French. Trudeau barely spoke French. But suddenly bilingualism is a crisis only when it’s convenient for Ottawa to score points against English Canada. Enough already. Bilingualism isn’t unity... it’s a jobs-and-cash program for Quebec at everyone else’s expense.

Dear Mark Carney, I just wanted to extend a heartfelt thank you for completely solving the housing crisis. It’s incredible. Studio apartments are now only $3,000 a month, bedrooms in someone’s basement are a steal at $1,850, and a modest one-bedroom is a jaw-dropping bargain at $3,700. Truly affordable living. I especially appreciate how owning a home now only requires a $180,000 down payment and a small, manageable $4,900/month mortgage. Homeownership has never been more within reach. 🏡✨ Also, thank you for fixing the cost of living. Groceries are unbelievably cheap now. Eggs at $9.49, butter at $8.99, ground beef casually hovering around $14/lb — honestly, I’m saving so much money I don’t even know what to do with it. I went in for milk and bread and only spent $97, which is basically nothing these days. What a time to be alive. 🛒💸 The tax relief has been phenomenal too. Keeping almost half of my paycheck is just incredible. I absolutely love watching 40–50% disappear before I even see it — it really builds character. Nothing says financial freedom like calculating whether you can afford both rent and food in the same month. Taxes have truly never felt lower. 📉😂 And the safety improvements — wow. Streets have never been calmer. You can now confidently walk past open-air drug use, random screaming matches, and bike chop shops knowing everything is totally under control. The fentanyl crisis? Basically solved. The homelessness crisis? Completely handled. There are only rows and rows of tents, which is obviously just modern minimalist housing. 🚨🏙️ The crime situation has also improved dramatically. Nothing reassures citizens more than seeing repeat offenders released faster than a drive-thru order. It really keeps things exciting. Who doesn’t love a little unpredictability on their commute? Keeps the adrenaline pumping. 🔁😌 And finally, thank you for making life in general so affordable. Gas hovering around $1.80–$2.10/L, insurance climbing, utilities up 30–40%, and somehow everyone still expected to smile and say “things are improving.” The financial gymnastics required just to exist are truly inspiring. ⛽💀 From the bottom of all Canadians’ hearts, thank you for this stunning 180. Housing has never been more affordable, groceries have never been cheaper, taxes have never been lower, and the streets have never been safer. Everything is perfect. Absolutely flawless. No notes. 🇨🇦👏 Warmest regards, A financially thriving Canadian P.S. If you could also fix interest rates, rent, groceries, crime, healthcare wait times, and wages — but like, don’t rush. You’ve already done so much.

An ICE agent jumped in to save a 1-year-old at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport on Thursday, the Department of Homeland Security shared in a video on X. DHS said the agent who was stationed near the security checkpoint performed "a Heimlich maneuver that restored the infant’s breathing after nearly two minutes." Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin responded to the rescue on social media, saying "if our agent had not been there and stepped up, this could have been a tragic outcome."

@ryangerritsen How about a 92 to 0 vote to pay some respect to the two pilots? Uh, yes Quebec. Two pilots died. I know that isn't as important as the French language announcement to you, but the rest of us think it is important. It is not about you.
