I've built an Obsidian plugin, CLI and MCP server to define note types in Obsidian. All metadata and tags documented, folder paths, templates, default values, required and optional fields etc. Now AI can perfectly understand my vault and notes. It puts them where they belong, use the right templates and metadata, etc. Huge leap forward in terms of quality and consistency.

So you can just install Obsidian, Claude Code, hermes-agent on a VPS, and purchase Obsidian's headless-sync... Put them together and have an intelligent agent (claude) by your side, with its own context in a second brain (that you can edit and peruse through the best note-taking software ever written), synced to an always-on agent (hermes-agent, running a cheaper model) you can interface with through Telegram or something similar. That's like employing my little brother except arguably cleverer and less belligerent (and also doesn't sleep) for only 18 + 10 + 16 = 44 GBP + credits via @OpenRouter per month!

Being 43 is wild. People your age are living completely different lives. Some are grandparents. Some are raising toddlers. Some are newly divorced. Some are newly engaged. Some haven’t slept in three years. Some are in St. Tropez posting Aperol spritzes from a yacht. Some look 25. Some look like they personally remember the invention of Tupperware. Nobody got the same assignment.
