@Comd_RCN @kw_whiteside Sir we need a morale patch for all the RCN folks not on a coast, naval staff or in the Exec. The folks that keep getting missed on pan-RCN correspondence (e.g. surveys) and other initiatives. Will ponder a suitable beast to represent!

@LeBrunJames81 Many years ago when I was a signaller I had the privilege of meeting a WWII veteran at a mess dinner. He had been a despatch rider during the war. He had some incredible stories. Your post reminded me of that encounter, so thanks!

Today in 1943, HMCS Regina attacked the Italian submarine Avorio in the western Mediterranean, north of Algeria. During the decisive engagement, Avorio's captain was killed, and her crew surrendered.
