This week's finished X-band kits are ready — and their new owners are already waiting for them.
Designed for X-band weather satellite reception in the 7.5–8.5GHz range.
Features:
• LNA NF <1dB (0.8dB @ 7.8GHz)
• Down-converter with dual inputs
• Remote control via Bluetooth
@ibelings Pieter, are you considering porting SpectraFlux to Linux support would be very nice or to Windows in the future? Most of our user base mainly uses Linux and Windows. Otherwise, you are going to force us into a very expensive Mac Studio purchase. :) My gold standard is CloudSDR.
SpectraFlux running at 250MHz IQ rate (16bit pairs) over 10GbE with 225MHz usable BW. Spurs are 16 bit depth LSB wiggles. I think I am CPU-bound with current topology. It is still faster than I expected on a base Mac mini M4.
Quick look at SpectraSat with a NetSDR. All upcoming passes are shown on one timeline. Click the one you want and Doppler corrections stream into SpectraFlux to keep the IQ centered on the bird. No chasing the signal with your mouse on the waterfall.
Just released ADALM-PLUTO-CloudSDR-Bridge onto GitHub.
Turns your cheap PLUTO into a CloudSDR for SpectraVue. Works with 500/1000/2000 demod modes + all the wide spectrum displays. Real IQ streaming, full 70 MHz–6 GHz offset, USB or network. Pure Python.
Not heavily tested (works on my bench… good luck).

@ibelings I may be one of the early users of CloudSDR. It’s the only SDR I use regularly. Yesterday, I came across an SDR-14 on eBay and couldn’t resist buying it 🙂 I’m planning to modify it by adding an external reference input and use it together with an AOR AR5000.
@TalhaTelliEEE Bir tanede Pluto Sdr edinebilirsen video denemeleri falanda yaparsın . sdrangel incele derim. Ben usrp b205 mini ve pluto sdr ile birçok denemeler yapmıştım...
Elime hayırsever bir hocam sağolsun bladeRF geçti bakalim neler yapabileceğiz çok heyecanlıyım. (TX ine hemen 50 ohm taktim SWR yansimasina aman dikkat :) )
A new Satsagen release with improved LibreSDR/ZynqSDR support and some other fixes is available on #content" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">albfer.com/en/satsagen-do…
SATSAGEN v.0.9.3.6 is ready for download. Added LMX2820 support. The picture shows a 10.368 GHz centered DRO filter characterization using an LMX2820 board as TX and an ADALM-PLUTO as RX.
Some functions and compatibility are improved in Satsagen starting version 0.9.3.5 for a better experience on Linux Wine. See a little tutorial at #content" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">albfer.com/en/2025/06/04/…
My friend Gianni IW1EPY discovered a tricky problem with the ADALM-PLUTO used above specifications: #content" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">albfer.com/en/2025/06/04/… #plutosdr#satsagen
Hi All,
SATSAGEN v.0.9.3.3 #Content" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">albfer.com/en/satsagen-do…
Highlights:
- Synthesizer Generator and Power Meter devices equipped with a GPIB interface are supported (via a GPIB USB interface like an AR488)
- Up to three devices for VNA operations
- LMX2595 support
- AirSpy HF+ support
More or less finished the DSP for the SDR++ Analog Video decoder. The VSB auto gain control still needs a bit of work but I think it's already better than every other SDR analog video decoders out there with how fast it locks and how stable it is. #sdr#sdrpp
Dear All,
SATSAGEN v.0.9.2.1: #content" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">albfer.com/en/satsagen-do…
- Time Domain (IF demodulation)
- ADF4351 and Si5351 support
- VNA dual-port/dual devices configuration
- Configuration diagrams for SNA/VNA settings
And many other additions, improvements, and fixes.
