Insane things happening today at a tech conference in Brussels A young 54 yo founder took the stage He showed something called "artificial intelligence" He typed a question into a machine and it answered back in full sentences The room gasped, I felt like I was watching the moon landing Suddenly a French venture capitalist stood up and said "I will fund this" He offered a €100k for 65% of the company They shook hands on stage The conference ended early because the venue's Wi-Fi license expired at 3pm But in those 3 hours I saw the future We are so far ahead of America it's not even funny

@_Visionworks And then on top of that, simply no help in trying to find anything other than "Hey we can sell you a new frame at the brand new price". Then when I actually sit down having selected a new frame noone comes to help, and after 20 minutes I just left.

@_Visionworks I cant lie, appalling service at your stores. I went in to get my bridge adjusted. Two days later when I come in for an eye exam, that nose pad falls off, and staff is quick to say "sorry theres nothing we can do"
