We popped into the supermarket for a few bits. I told Mrs S I was just going to scan the aisle ends. What for? I sang - because I'm an aisle-end boy 🎵 She didn't get it, but another couple were highly amused. My comedy career beckons.

Only 1 of the last 6 Prime Ministers became PM through a general election… but all of a sudden it’s an outrage and we need a general election? It’s all so contrived. Anything to rile the general public up and make people angry. For those who don’t understand, the UK has a parliamentary democracy, not a presidential system. The democratic mandate belongs to Parliament, not an individual Prime Minister. Voters elect MPs, and the party with a majority in the House of Commons has the mandate to govern and chooses its leader to serve as Prime Minister. That’s been the case for 305 years now. The best thing about the summer holiday is that I get 4 weeks off from just thinking about school. Week 1 is pretty much sorting the class and coming down from the worry. Week 6 is the climb up to going back. But those 4 weeks are bliss!

Filming people and putting them on social media for the court of public opinion is not justice, regardless of what they have done. A thirty second clip can never be all the facts. They're probably not innocent, but a thorough investigation is needed.

@dsprimed One of my first crushes Neil Tennant. We went to see them in 2017 and I thought it was Fred Elliot on the mic. The voice is still there though and I still love him. We go to every Dreams gig.
