I know DPOY usually goes to a big who acts as a rim protecting shot blocker, but in today's modern game of basketball, give me the wing who can defend multiple positions and deny dribble penetration (which leads to easy kick-out 3 looks). Ability to TRULY defend and contain 1 on 1 and being effective with help & recover is what the best defenders do in todays game.

@JordanLoppnow No! JV is a learning and development team preparing to be future varsity players. Want them in close games, experiencing and learning time and score situations in pressure situations. Hard to replicate that in practices.

No disrespect, but I always hoped for blowouts in JV games so the varsity games would start on time.

Last night yr 1 w/@ViterboWBB came to an end after a tough conf tourney loss. There were a ton of highlights in this 1st yr, to many to list honestly. The last 5 months of experiences, connections, relationships, etc. I am grateful and appreciative to have had! Thank you ladies!!

@sctthbl @JordanLoppnow Wrong. Head to head does matter for any consecutive seeds if 1 team has won 100% of the head to head games. If not consecutive seeds then does not apply. Playing Minnesota schools also doesn't matter. Last year was considered a .500 team. This year their record is what matters.

@JordanLoppnow What they don't know is that head-to-head results and overall record don't matter any more. It's all about analytics, such as strength of schedule, strength of opponents, etc. Hudson plays some Minnesota schools, while Eau Claire Memorial does not. That is a factor as well.

@TYash42 The entire post game celebration was a bit much for me. It was a quarterfinal game. Good win but the celebration was like it was a national title game. Not sure which was more annoying, that or the constant camera time for Michael Irvin.

Old heads are mad about kids getting participation ribbons as we give a trophy out 3x bigger than the Lombardi for winning a round of 8 CFP game.
