@Kohls I had a very bad experience today at your Ridgefield, CT location. I was returning a gift trying to exchange it. The cashier didn’t ask if I wanted store credit, instead he quickly put it through as a return to my friend’s credit card...

@Kohls Per my first tweet, this happened at the Ridgefield, CT location. If you can’t reverse the transaction and it was the fault of one of your associates then your manager or your company should right the wrong and give me store credit on what they messed up on.

@dstone219 We are sorry to hear you did not get the chance to let the associate know. Unfortunately once a refund is submitted, we are not able to reverse it. What location did this occur at?

@Kohls I wasn’t given the option before he put it through. He did it so fast that i didn’t have a second to get the words. He knew I was buying other things. Why didn’t he ask me if I wanted store credit? Then when the mistake was made, why didn’t Ami help! It was the cashier’s fault.

@dstone219 If a customer request for a store credit, we are able to do so. However, this is only done when requested.

@Kohls Thanks @Kohls - why isn’t store credit an option? Especially for a gift return? That is terrible. I don’t need to shop at your stores anymore if that is the fact.

@Kohls And when I explained this to Ami, her attitude was less then gracious about the situation. I also asked her for the regional manager’s contact info in which she would not provide that.

@Kohls The store manager Ami said there was nothing she could do. Nothing? This was completely the cashier’s fault and there was nothing that could be done? What terrible customer service. I can’t go back to my friend and tell her that I returned the gift and I need the money...

@DlyHarvest @RachelDrori what’s with your customer service not returning an email in 5 days!? I received last weeks box completely destroyed, everything was defrosted. This may be an issue with @UPS but that’s between you two. I’d just like my refund for last weeks box.
