However, Europeans, possessing an objectively greater body of knowledge, took advantage of this by investing in increasing the supply from local slave owners. Later those same Europeans(USSR, USA as well) continued to supply African dictators with weapons.

Almost every Black African who was sold to Europeans from Ghana had first been captured by other Black Africans while still a free man and only then reduced to the status of a slave. The Europeans themselves almost never went on slave hunts in the African interior. It is not the descendants of the slaves who live in Ghana, but the descendants of the slave captors.
