@PalaceReport @ed_aarons Meanwhile they turned down 65m+ last January…

😤 Oliver Glasner said to be extremely unhappy with decision to sell Marc Guehi but there was recognition at Crystal Palace that they could not afford to turn down £35m for a player who had entered the final 12 months of his contract.

@sentdefender Fraud! Waste! Abuse! This will do nothing to stem the flow of migrants to the Southern Border at great cost to the American taxpayer.

According to the Washington Post , citing an unnamed official familiar with the planning process for future troop deployments to the U.S.-Mexico border, a “visible road march of Stryker vehicles bound for the Mexico border” is one idea being discussed by decision-makers. For an example of what a Stryker road march would look like, here’s a video of the U.S. Army’s 2nd Cavalry Regiment conducting a road march inside of Poland during a 2017 NATO battlegroup deployment.

WELCOME TO GENERATION BETA: THE NEXT CHAPTER BEGINS
2025 marks the birth of Generation Beta, the children of Millennials and older Gen Zs.
By 2035, they’re projected to make up 16% of the global population, with many expected to live into the 22nd century.
Here’s how the current generations compare:
Silent Generation (<1946): The Builders, now 80+, shaped post-WWII infrastructure.
Baby Boomers (1946-1964): Cultural and economic trailblazers, now 61-79.
Gen X (1965-1979): Entrepreneurial and anti-establishment, now 46-60.
Millennials (1980-1994): Tech-savvy and socially conscious, now 31-45.
Gen Z (1995-2009): The internet generation, now 16-30.
Gen Alpha (2010-2024): The first fully digital natives, age 15 and under.
What changes will Gen Beta bring to our world?

@EODHappyCaptain People think officers make good money… Costs like these for required uniform items contribute to why people get out. @NavyExchange needs to do better.

OMG I can't believe I'm saying this, but....go John Kirby?
TV Globo’s @RKrahenbuhl: “So, besides saying that he doesn't have confidence in these numbers, the President went further to say that innocents will die and that this is the price of the war. You also said that.”
Kirby: “I have indeed.”
Krähenbühl: “Don't you think this is insensitive? There’s being very harsh criticism in about it. For example, the Council of American-Islamic Relations said it was deeply disturbed and call on the President to apologize. Would the President apologize?”
Kirby: “No.”
Krähenbühl: “And does he regret saying something like that?”
Kirby: “What’s harsh — what’s harsh is the way Hamas is using people as human shields. What’s harsh is taking a couple of hundred hostages and leaving families and anxious, waiting and worrying to figure out where their loved ones are. What's harsh, is dropping in on a music festival and slaughtering a bunch of young people just trying to enjoy an afternoon. I could go on and on. That's what's harsh. That is what's harsh and being honest about the fact that there have been civilian casualties and that there likely will be more is being honest, because that's what war is. It's brutal. It's ugly. It's messy. I've said that before. President also said that yesterday. Doesn't mean we have to like it. And it doesn't mean that we're dismissing anyone of those casualties each and every one is a tragedy in its own right...It would be helpful if Hamas would let [Gazans] leave....We know that there are thousands waiting to leave Gaza writ large and Hamas is preventing them from doing it. That is what is harsh.”
