An attempt to use AI to map the topics covered by @TheRestHistory. I fed episode titles & descriptions into a Phi-3 small language model and asked it to infer the location of any events. Far from perfect but nice to explore episodes on a map google.co.uk/maps/d/viewer?…

Almost to the top 🚴 of a 1 in 11 hill. Is there a map of Edinburgh with the gradients of the roads on them? Would interested to see 😁

This demo uses @openAI artificial intelligence to find places related to your question from the @OrdnanceSurvey NGD API. You can ask a general concept like "Places to play football" and the AI identifies all the relevant types of stadiums and playing fields from OS NGD data...

New report out from @WhatWorksWB underlines how effective @ncs summer programme is at increasing community cohesion. This is ace, as that's the thing we designed it for.

For anyone still thinking we just need to "tough out" this winter because that's what used to happen in the olden times, I have a chart for you

Love the replies to this. I'd add the Ionic capitals on Trotters Opticians on George St which look like a pair of spectacles.

Secret Edinburgh - urbex, street art, indie shops@SecretEdin

Ok #Edinburgh peeps, I want to know about your favourite MUNDANE, hidden in plain sight things. You know the kinda thing: signs, pipes, drain covers, stonework, door-knockers, trees, bus stops, doorways, ornaments, gates etc that you like but suspect no-one else notices. Go!

@Jonathan_Rowson I’ve fond memories of Troon. My grandfather & his sisters were brought up on Morven Drive and we used to visit my gt aunt there. (Their dad ran a home furnishing shop which surprisingly seems to still exist g.co/kgs/VYmxEN) Congrats to your mum & step dad!

I’m in Troon for the silver wedding of Lesley and Ray, my mum and step dad. I gave a speech reflecting on life since 1997. My mum quoted a line from Inspector Morse: “When you think you’re past love. Then you find your last love. And you love like you’ve never loved before.”

@dt99jay @EnvAgencyGeomat No, I think National Lidar Programme DSM is the underlying survey data that is merged to produce the composite. It will include 2020 and 2021 data, where available. AFAICS, the Composite DSM 2020 isn't live on the site yet.

@owenboswarva @EnvAgencyGeomat Thanks! Yes, has been handy to download older data via the ‘Tiles' DSM option, but currently there's separate entries for 'Comp. DSM' as well as 'Nat. LIDAR Prog. DSM' (which made latter sound like a different product). Guess former = Comp 2017 & latter = Comp 2020.

Any non-super athletic followers got secret exercise goals? Mine is to run 5k in 25 minutes. Not sure it’s physically possible (for me!!)
