As a soon to be divorced person, my daughters' are on a mission to persuade me to get a dog. The cons list is still short compared to the pros list but I'm not sure how fair it is? Long list of pros and cons below: Cons: - chew up furniture in your house - Fart a lot - Having to pick up dog poo - Mount the leg of people you don’t want to mount - Dribble on people - Sniff the crotches - When young they defecate all over the floor - Walk twice a day - Ideally based in one house - Someone has to look after it while I’m away - they want to be in front seat of car - They roll in poo - roll on your stuff - Hard to train - Eat rotting fish - then breathe rotting fish breath on you - Fleas - Flees - Vet bills - Ideally sleep between you and whoever your with in the bed in the night - They get jealous - Arrange holidays around the dog - Steal food - May get fat Pros: - it’s nice to have someone to greet you and love you when you get back to the house - Shows that you’re a victim of manipulation - Show love for daughters - Someone to talk to when your daughters abandon you - Companion on walking trips - Companion on backpacking trips - Kee you warm - No longer lonely - More ruthless with your business decisions - Provides purpose during midlife crisis - Prevents you getting a stupid sports car (dog won’t fit) - Dog is lady magnet - Provides so much happiness not j for you but for your daughters - Reason for daughters to visit you - Companion for vape breaks - Employee benefit - mental health aid - Doesn’t change its mind about loving you - Less mopping needed - Less leftovers - environmentally friendly - Soft ears - Match of the day watching companion - Gift to your daughters during such a hard time for them - Interesting new mental challenge (training dog) - New fun hobby - May prevent having anymore children - inheritance preservation for real children - Reason to get steps in everyday - Reason to appreciate nature - Fun new way to make friends on dog walks - people more friendly when you have dog - Funny story opportunities - Justification for when you just don’t like someone (the dog doesn't like them/you) - Excuse when getting out of events you don’t want to go to - Clutter, damage and smell equivalent to that of your daughters anyway - Good filter for finding lady friend - Just so cute - No hoover - Dog only pooed itself once when it was a puppy - Excellent burglar deterrent - Only peed itself 2-3 times - Chewing up stuff in your house - myth dependent on dog - When you tell them off for farting - they look so adorable - Blame fart on dog, practise leadership through reward and punishment - Practise creative solutions to difficult problems - Makes everyone’s mood better - Diet - learn to keep discipline for yourself and for your dog - See more of your incredible country - Dog chases away birds from eating your grapes - It is a good idea - Won’t feel like work - will enjoy it

We’re aware of and investigating an issue impacting some of our home broadband customers since this morning. Getting our customers reconnected is now our top priority, and we’re incredibly sorry for any inconvenience this is causing.

@alder30 @VodafoneUK Same here. I even reset my son's iPad thinking that that the issues he was having were Apple's, as I was aware of the @vodafoneuk outage. Lots of unnecessary troubleshooting and grief.

@DanielColquitt @evergoodstudios @theburakisik Same here. I can work around this to a degree by encrypting all traffic via a vpn, but it's crazy that this still doesn't work and yet the BBC website claims that @vodafoneuk says "UK broadband services back to normal", which is clearly a lie.

People think Amy Thompson getting a red via second yellow for taking her shirt off in celebration is "bizarre" without realising a yellow is the same penalty we get in the men's game too 🤣

@TMP_ToffeeLatte Could be. Only the ref knows! But that’s not how the rules read. It’s either off or pulled over the head. It’s quite specific.

@MarcusBiel Just realised that I missed your question. You can move them into subfolders if you just want them out of sight. Flyway scans its migrations locations recursively.

@dtabase Different thing...What's the best practice to organize a growing list of flyway scripts? I rarely change my project version number, so that's not the best way for me. Or could I just move executed files to an archive folder..but that would hinder it running on a fresh system...

#lazyweb Is there an automated way to merge lots of small flyway scripts to what the current dB model actually looks like?

@MarcusBiel DryRunOutput just aggregates your existing migrations. Or are you asking what is best practice for this in general?

@dtabase That sounds perfect. What about the constraints - separate or integrated into the CREATE table stmt?

@MarcusBiel If you generate the dryRunOutput against an empty database, the result is a single script that builds the database from scratch.

@dtabase That might be it? On my local system I can always reset the dB... Then all scripts are pending...

@MarcusBiel I see. Flyway Teams edition has the "dryRunOutput" option that creates a single script out of the pending migrations, which might help. It's really just an aggregation of the scripts, so no rocket science.

@dtabase I like to have a few clear scripts that you can look at and get an idea of the db.. Without running any extra tool or step. I worked now on this manually... The export brings dB and keys and constraints separate .. While I like this together too... So I see faster how things are
