אחזקה קטנה חדשה שדיסקברי מחזיקה: $IEHC. החברה קטנה אך חלק מדואופול בעולם- רק היא ועוד חברה אחת מייצרות hyperboloid connectors. המחבר הזה מבטיח העברת סיגנל גם בלחץ אדיר של עד 300 כוחות ג׳י, וחיוני בכל טיל (פטריוט, Thaad, Amraam ועוד) ומיועד לעמוד בלחצים אדירים. הוא מככב גם במערכות רדאר, מערכות חלל ועוד. רשימת הלקוחות של החברה פשוט שומטת לסת. היופי הוא שהמחבר הזה קריטי אך עולה שבריר מעלות המערכת. בדיוק המאפיינים של עסק נהדר. בחמש השנים האחרונות החברה אכלה המון המון … חרא. היא כמעט מתה כתוצאה מהחלפת מערכת ERP והיא אכלה מרורים עם עליית חומרי הגלם (החוזים שלה ארוכים), ולאחרונה הזינוק במחירי הזהב. אבל! החברה העלתה מחירים משמעותית והשוליים שלה הולכים להתאושש לתוך סביבה רותחת - כל העולם מתחמש ועם ירידת מחירי הזהב לאחרונה השוליים ימתחו למצבם ״היציב״ - להערכתי מעל 30%, על בקלוג שזינק לערכו הגבוה ביותר אי פעם, שרק ימשיך לגדול. אני מתייחס אליה כאל הבטחונית הקטנה שלי, שאף אחד לא מכיר, שפעלה עד לא מזמן מברוקלין (ועכשיו ממפעל חדש מורחב במיקום אחר) ובעלת שורשים יהודיים - ומזכירה במעט את בל פיוז אהבתי הנכזבת, זו שמכרתי אחרי פי 3 כדי להפסיד עוד פי 3. בשנים הקרובות אני רואה אותם מגיעים ל 60-70 מיליון דולר הכנסות, בשוליים של 30% ומעלה, ועם אופקס של נניח 9 מל״ד - חברה ששווה 40 מל״ד שתרוויח נניח 10 מל״ד בעוד זמן לא ארוך ושהמאפיינים שלה מתאימים בקלות למכפיל 20-25. אז מה האפסייד? תחשבו לבד… בום ג״נ: מחזיק ומשוחד, ולרוב טועה

@iancassel That's why I use Watchlistify, which provides free stock drop alerts by email. When a stock drops from top, I get an email, and it can stay there for years.

When a stock you own drops 25% it's an "opportunity". When it drops 10% more you call the CEO to verify the thesis and buy more. When it drops 10% more you get annoyed insiders aren't buying. When it drops 10% more you sell your stock to the investors that are going to make money on the stock. Think about all the stocks you said you would buy if they ever dropped to a certain price.   When the stock price finally drops, you quickly pivot, "ehh.. maybe I’ll buy it 10% lower". You do this three more times.  Watchlist companies = a list of stocks you tell yourself you would buy if they drop, but when they do drop you never buy them.
