if this social media ban came in when I was a kid it would literally have prevented me from starting my entire career
I started on youtube when I was 13. the no nonsense guides would not exist if I had to start years later. crazy to think about tbh

@MrRoflWaffles Watching the “first world” erode thier freedoms until you’re literally more free as a woman in an Arab totalitarian country is wild, never thought I’d see it in my lifetime
English

@MCulshaw84 @MrRoflWaffles Never said it was a bad thing, just said it was crazy to think about. Stop jumping to conclusions. It’s ok to feel grey about these sorts of changes. Ofc people are going to be shocked at the beginning until it becomes normal
English

@MrRoflWaffles OK Milo that's you...
Now let's flip it...
If this ban came in whilst you was a kid, it could have saved thousands of young children from getting groomed.
Is your career so important that it goes ahead of the potential safeguarding of kids?

@ExtremeBlitz__ Watching homelander gain immortality in episode 6 just to plan a theme park in the next episode despite capturing billy and hughie:

English

@SynthPotato Homelander making a theme park after gaining literal immortality is the craziest choice in a penultimate episode ever. @UtdMicah

The Boys Season 5 is very likely heading to a Game of Thrones level finale and its making me genuinely sad.
This season has absolutely struggled with pacing, its struggled with writing and has frankly entirely failed to feel like a final season.
Episode 7 is good in a vacuum, it has plenty of interesting character moments and drama but as THE penultimate episode of the entire series? There is simply no logical way to wrap The Boys up in a satisfying manner in one more episode, this has 0 feeling of finality in any sense so far and the constant cowardly writing that refuses to push the envelope properly continues to be a huge issue. The marketing, looking back with the destroyed Vought tower feels so misleading and it makes me so sad.
Its sad to see one of my favorite shows that had a genuinely fantastic run with Seasons 1-3 completely fumble and stumble towards its end. Maybe they aim to stretch this plot out over The Boys Mexico spin off, otherwise, I cannot possibly see this show wrap up in a satisfying way next week. Whatever they do, its going to feel rushed and unearned.
I don’t think it was hard to make a Season 3 level season with multiple major fight scenes, and character arcs wrapping up, especially with how Ryan has effectively been written out of the show despite being the most important aspect of S1-3. I am just disappointed.

@randomdude22401 @JamesMGK @SynthPotato Every episode is “let’s make progress towards this weapon to kill homelander” and then “oh no there’s an obstacle that’s wasted this episode, we will tackle the obstacle in the next one” just for by the end of the season making that weapon useless.
English

@JamesMGK @SynthPotato im not - just annoying dealing with the snyder bro level "dude where's all the punching, blood tough smoldering looks!"
idu what yall want, bc I've never seen anyone communicate anything more detailed then "like the promo picture!".. so a season about cities blowing up.. emmy!!

@InnocentMan34 @CultureCrave Disney would’ve only ever created infinity vision as a play and never as an innovation
English

@duckyou72 @CultureCrave But in the far future, Disney would create Infinity Vision where possible.
English

IMAX CFO says Disney’s ‘Infinity Vision’ is a marketing play
“From our view, we feel it’s a marketing play to try and offset the fact that they don’t have an Imax platform”
“[Marvel fans are] among the savvy and most discerning moviegoers out there, and there’s a reason why we’re the undisputed leader”
(via @THR)

English

@InnocentMan34 @CultureCrave If doomsday got the imax screens they would never create infinity vision
English

@CultureCrave There's no need for IMAX to comment on Disney's own Infinity Vision. In my view, it's not a marketing play but rather a new format that needs to be tested before it can be operated once the test is successful. If successful, Infinity Vision may soon be rolled out worldwide.
