re: nepotism im gonna go ahead and say what you dont want to hear: if i was building a team and i had the option of 2 players that are within +/- 10% of each other, I AM ALWAYS GONNA CHOOSE THE ONE THAT IS FRIENDS WITH MY PLAYERS. i have direct insight into said player. i will know their mannerisms, their energy/personality, what they bring to a roster, their work ethic. why would I risk my team's future on an intangible to uphold some bullshit ideal you have that everyone should get a fair shot? yes, i will still trial people, but inevitably, i will choose the one with the least unknown factors. CONNECTIONS ARE IMPORTANT!!! DONT BE AN INSUFFERABLE PIECE OF SHIT YOUR WHOLE CAREER AND EXPECT HAND OUTS and stop crying in esports.
