If healthcare isn’t affordable it isn’t accessible – that’s why I’m fighting for a public option.

Help me get past the finish line! We're in the final stretch before July 20th, the deadline to qualify for Minnesota's public campaign subsidy program for my campaign for State Senate, District 49. To qualify, I need a minimum number of individual donors giving $50 or less. I'm close, but still need just a few more donors by Monday to get there. And it could cost you nothing! My campaign is eligible for Minnesota’s Political Contribution Refund program, which reimburses up to $75/year to eligible Minnesota voters (up to $150/married couple) given to campaigns like mine. The campaign sends you everything you need to claim it back. If you believe Minnesota deserves better, stronger accountability, lower taxes, real transparency, and better schools, I'd be grateful for your support before Monday. You can make a secure online donation through the links at my website. 👉 DuFaultforMN.com

Minnesota just posted its highest graduation rate ever. Also: 65% of our 11th graders are below grade level in math, the worst math performance on record. Minnesota public schools handed out more diplomas than ever, while fewer kids could do the math to earn them. Since when did a piece of paper become the goal instead of actual learning? Minnesota keeps breaking graduation-rate records while our kids fall further behind on the fundamentals. That's not progress, that's a broken accountability system. Minnesota scrapped its high school exit exam back in 2013. Maybe it's time we brought real accountability back. Our schools deserve better. Our kids deserve better.
