Gm with sold out alert. @duir33 convinced the shark that it belonged in the depths of the ocean. It joyfully moves its fins. Yes, Eloy still doesn't move without the fabrics.

Episode 7: Solana Builders Series (Season 3) "Through art, we can connect with our own courage." For @eloychaperon, her creations unleash the courage within her so strongly that she experiences many facets of herself through it. In this week’s episode of the Solana Builders Series, we’re featuring Eloy, a sewing machine pilot and watercolor bender. She takes us through her world, her creative process, and the moments in her artistic journey that mean the most. Watch the full video interview to hear her story. 👇

Over the weekend I built a web app called DisToken. It lets you display NFTs with a clean, minimal UI — no wallet connection. The idea came from realizing there really isn’t a clean or efficient way to just look at NFTs. Most tools focus on buying and selling. None truly focus on admiring and sharing art seamlessly. So I built Dis... Why? I first ran into this problem when I wanted to display some of @raoulgmi’s pieces from the Culture Vault for a Real Vision event. At that moment, I realized there wasn’t really a useful tool to curate a gallery using a wallet as the canvas. I found myself right-click saving. I also feel one of the best things about NFT's is that you can admire other collectors’ art without permission. If I want to look at the @punk6529 museum or @BoredOpepen collection, why can’t I do that effectively or in a clean way? Same thing with my own collection. If I want to display art I own, why isn’t that easy either? I ran into this again in Marfa while hosting a small art activation for @ttu_waa. I wanted to display several pieces from our club wallet on a CRT TV. To do that, I had to: – create a Canva – import the art – fix aspect ratios – create a loop – export a video And even then, you lose depth. You lose the name of the piece. You lose the description. You lose the on-chain metadata. One of the core features of NFTs — access to data — gets lost. Whether an artist wants that metadata surfaced or not should be their choice, but there aren’t really tools that help with that decision. Yes, there are challenges. You have to respect the artwork. You can’t ruin the piece. You have to display it at its max potential. But that’s exactly why better tools should exist — to help artists and collectors display their wallets effectively and seamlessly. Everyone always talks about how NFTs let you collect a lot of art without stuffing it into a physical closet. But right now, wallets are basically just digital closets. So how do we get art out of the closet? I hope DisToken V.1 is a step toward giving people a better way to display and share the art they collect. This is just V.1. It’s definitely not perfect, and I’d love to hear feedback. DisToken has the potential to go in a lot of directions: – curation and display tools – public galleries (like Instagram used to have) – collaborative displays, shared curation (more on that soon) Anyways, the web app is live, link below its Open source too, so if you want the repo just DM me. To quote @redbeardnft: “this is how we build.”
