I dare say, had it not been for Peter's mentorship, my earliest research would not have gotten off the ground. Peter and I worked together to deposit his father's papers at @CASCambridge & @theULSpecColl, where they can now be digitally accessed: repository.cam.ac.uk/collections/97… The Collection provides a powerful, intimate window into Uganda's postcolonial politics. Peter will be missed by so many, and I extend my deepest sympathies to his family. Requiescat in pace.
